Ladies, be careful. Do not share indesciminantly with men. That's going to freak out most guys and they will run scared. That's not what being vulnerable is. That's making sure you will get dumped and hurt. Don't share anything like that, not your body, and certainly not your heart. Get to know a man gently and slowly and share more if he is himself doing the same and providing the space for you to do it. The right kind of man will make you feel safe. But be careful of doing anything too fast and too eagerly. Our inner world is sacred and only those who are worthy can have access.
I agree, he must be trust worthy before you can open up. I would suggest mirroring, meaning if he opens up, you open up at the same level. Once you’ve in a relationship and after some time, you can share your heart in a respectful non judgmental way.
Not all men appreciate vulnerability. Some men may see that as weak. Be careful who you open up to. Get to know the persons before you are vulnerable. Take care of yourself first.

When I met JJ -- the love of my life-- I decided early on to be absolutely honest with him about EVERYTHING. I thought I really had nothing to lose. A few months later he told me how much he appreciated my honesty because I was the 1st woman who was extremely honest with him. I must admit that for the first few months -- I didn't really believe much of what he said, not because of anything he did but because of my past relationships. Now here we are years later and he knows without any doubt that I am only honest with him and I trust HIM TOTALLY!! It's the most beautiful relationship that I have ever had!!! One caveat - if you do this and it turns out that he is a Covert Narcissist, as God is my judge, he will take everything you shared with you, and use it against you. This will happen so quickly (he does his 180 degree turnaround into a monster) within seconds. You wont even see it coming.
Exactly. I am reminded of the first few lines of Eurythmics, "Sweet Dreams ( Are Made of This)." It would be a miscalculation to share your vulnerabilities towards all sorts of people. Some people will weaponize your pain, secrets etc, sometimes people you thought would never do that, it happens. Sux, but happens.
Just because a guy does this “use what you shared against you” this doesn’t make him a narcissist. He could simply also be immature or have poor conflict resolution skills. I used to do dumb stuff like that in my twenties. I’m a woman and I didn’t realize until I was older that wasn’t the proper way to speak to my partner if there was a disagreement. I honestly just didn’t know any better. I would bring it up to him and say something like, “it’s difficult for me to open up to you because you have a habit of using what I share against me. It makes me think or feel as though you aren’t holding a safe space for me to be vulnerable and I would like or need a safe space.” Then.. listen to his response and move or respectfully respond accordingly. If you truly desire a safe space and he’s unable to provide that, he won’t be a good fit. If he shows effort and eventually creates and maintains a safe space, you have what you were looking for to make you happy from your guy.
Typed the search "high value men" - 99% of videos came up as "where to get a high value men" and "what high value men like in women " 🤔 Interesting fact that all those videos are made for women and even men making those videos for women))) Did not find much videos where men would teach their men how to be a valuable man! A lot of videos on how to be a valuable woman though. As a result, we have a lot of valuable women with small percentage of high valuable men! This really works ladies! I have been opening up more and God has sent me a destiny helper to help me in my time of need. This person I just shared with because I didn’t have anyone else to talk to and didn’t know what else to do. To my surprise, they ended up helping me pretty much making all my problems disappear! The right person is going to help you. Just make sure you’re dealing with the right kind of person

That will work to take a stand but the scorched earth approach won’t get you what you want either. I just self isolated, treated myself well and give myself the care I want. Makes it easy to spot a fake later. If you love yourself well, no one will ever treat you poorly again. Be your own best friend meaning do not accept for yourself any treatment you would not accept for anyone you love. Then you can give and receive love and feel safe in doing so. Sharing your feelings too soon will scare him away, I shared my feelings with my fwb/ situationship he surprised and reciprocated and receptive because he already told me I was a mystery so me expressing myself was definitely by surprise, but I didn’t do this in the beginning during the honeymoon stay … I did it way after, too so in can be sign of insecure neediness and desperation 😮😊

I totally disagree. Women should NOT be vulnerable with a man until they've got to know him (as friends) for at least 6 months. What's the point of telling a man your vulnerable 'stuff' if (a) he's not emotionally intelligent enough to hear it (b) hasn't the capacity to be vulnerable himself and (c) doesn't have your back anyway? I dated my ex for 5 years yet I couldn't tell you ANYTHING about his childhood/upbringing, dating history, former marriage, debts: he just dodged the issue and I was too insecure to ask. I learned the hard way - and paid the price.

Wow I’m sorry but you are extremely wrong. Not all men are you. Lots of men no matter how in love with you they may be don’t want to hear your negative emotions. They ghost so fast. Maybe a year in he may not leave you, but that takes many hours of spending with each other and by then both are attached. Do this is 1-3 months you’ll never see him again. There are time frames to your advice.

Hi, is it fair to say men are way too sensitive? I feel like I'm constantly walking on eggshells and have to put in so much work to be " feminine". The fact that I have to first ask for permission to share my emotions.. I almost feel silenced as if I have ask for permission to exist and have a voice. I don't think a relationship is meant to be if one mistake in tone or way I speak is what ruins it. Also i think this is border line how a relationship with a narcissist makes you feel.
