Agree but I’m not sure his interest is genuine, he’s constantly laughing at the video but in a “that’s so stupid” way. The chick has the typical American attitude of “we are the best at everything” the eye rolls and just the look on her face is totally mean girls. It’s like when a rich person looks down at the help. I don’t know why they do these videos, I’ve watched a couple and it’s basically the same thing, he laughs at something and then looks at her stone face. She looks like she’s just annoyed 24/7. I’m with you, no likes on this video. Not interested in wasting my time with anymore. Maybe they can consider this comment as a reaction to their reaction. 👎

Non-Canadians look at a bag of milk, and wonder Why would you want to keep a liquid in a container with no firm structure? The answer is: Before opening them (snipping off a corner with scissors), we put the bags in these standard (& re-useable) molded plastic jugs that hold them snuggly & securely upright. The advantage to bags is: _much_ less waste packaging than disposable jugs or waxed/plasticky cartons. And by the way, the bags are pretty tough, so they don't leak unless they've _really_ gotten banged around.

The Canadian post offices receive millions of letters Canada wide. There’s nothing greater at Christmastime as when your child receives a letter back from Santa with the help of his elves. "Great White North" was a phrase used by the characters Bob and Doug Mackenzie [Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas] in the SCTV comedy show that ran in the early 1980s. Moranis and Thomas were making fun of the most embarrassing Canadian cultural cliches, and since the show was aired in the U.S., the phrase caught on, even more with Americans than Canadians.

One of the greatest showcases of the Canadian attitude was Bob and Doug MacKenzie skit on Second City. It was a comedy skit show produced, written by, directed by and acted by Canadians. It was shown in the States which is how they set the length of the show. In Canada however there was about 2 minutes less commercial time than in the States. So they were told to do a recurring skit to cover the extra time and to make sure it was Canadian. This had everyone confused because everything was already Canadian. So as a form of sarcasm they introduced the skit of Bob and Doug MacKenzie aka Tbe Great White North. They would sit around drinking beer, talking about hockey, wearing toques and say eh a lot. It became wildly popular in Canada and spawned the movie Strange Brew

They kind of went away with glass coke bottles). The thing is, the bag milk is usually bought 4L at a time, so it's an economical choice for, say, a family of 4-5 people who go through a lot of milk and aren't so concerned with it spoiling before it can be used up. Also restaurants, who likewise go through a high volume quickly. Bachelors like myself stick to the cartons that can be tightly resealed to stay fresh longer.

Sending letters to Santa is hardly unique to Canada (who also send their letters to wrong country, as everyone in the world knows Santa lives in Finland) People all over the world send letters to Santa in Finland. We have Santa's post office in Rovaniemi.

While your "Joulupukki" may live in the woods -- as we all know the North Pole has no trees, so it can't be in Finland. Ehkä hän on vain lomalla Suomessa....ha ha!

Yet the Postal Code used in North America for letters to Santa is Canadian, H0H 0H0. Canadian volunteers send letters back from Santa as well

Happy Birthday. Only some provinces have bagged milk. Alberta stopped using bagged milk in the 80's. Our Thanksgiving has nothing to do with pilgrims, and is just a harvest celebration that started in the 1500's. Fun fact the Canadian Monarchy is the only Constitutional Monarchy in the Commonwealth that was first installed as a French Crown and not a British.

Milk in bags is an accident waiting to happen, in UK milk can be bought in cardboard cartons,it's so easy to pour it anywhere but in cup ,bowl etc ,but they are recyclable , that's good ,😮😮❤

milk in bags is much more enviromentaly responsible. we are the 'great white north bc of all the ice and snow, including many glaciers, but def not bc of white people. not only do we have a very large first nations component, but because we welcome so many immigrants - and always have - we are one of the most multi-cultural nations on earth'. maybe it was just a very bad day, but my perception is that one of you should def not be doing this type of work/hobby. very critical and sarcastic, just giving off a lot of negative energy. it ruined the vid for me, so i had to downvote. sorry

How is it more environmentally friendly? You still need to manufacture all that plastic. To be truly conscious we should go back to glass bottles.
@angelaharper856
@angelaharper856 11 месяцев назад
@@sadee1287 less energy and cost to manufacture and transport. if they DO end up in landfill, 20 bags takes up way less space than one carton or jug. also, many people wash the bags and re-use the for kitty litter or dog poop - just cut off the top of the bag completely. there are more reasons, but that's good for a start
