All the New Yorkers I know that live in the city don't have cars, and most of them don't have drivers licenses. One friend who grew up in the Bronx, when he and his wife moved to FL they both had to go to driving school to learn how to drive.

Yeah, it's really expensive to own a car in NYC so most people don't have cars. Parking is also a nightmare.

Same with Hawaii

@@HoneyKrisp69 Hawaii? Or just Honolulu. Most people in NY outside of NYC have a car.

they didn't hack the train, those speakers are hardwired. During certain parades, sometimes some youth will break into the conductor's pod and use the mic to broadcast some fun music. It's all fun and games until you crash a train though.

Things are so different in these huge cities and people see so much weirdness that they get used to it. I watched a video of a naked man in San Francisco who was at a transit station and he kept running around and doing handstands and people either ignored him or walked around him. When I was walking down Hollywood Blvd with my daughter I made the mistake of glancing back at some people saying that they hadn't eaten in three days and the next thing I knew they started following us wanting money. Also had a man shove a CD in my hand and then demand money for it. My daughter took the CD and shoved it right back at him and we kept walking. She had already lived there for over a decade and warned me afterward to be careful and to make as little eye contact as possible. I live in the South in a town of 40,000 and was not used to these types of things happening although we do have people in our town who are homeless or mentally ill and they are characters. A woman pushing a dead dog that's stuffed around in a baby buggy, A man dancing around in a tutu, and another man dressed like Jesus and dragging a large cross around town. Still I'm more used to people being polite, smiling, and saying hello; holding the door open for you. But I have to admit that a lot of this stuff in New York City is quite entertaining.

Please DO make eye contact... Looking down or aside can mark you as a target for the criminally inclined. Keep your head/chin up, be aware of your surroundings. Make confident eye contact that says "I am aware of your presence."

Not many petrol stations in Manhattan maybe on 96th Street 125th Street and further north maybe somon the Lower East Side

Hardly anyone who works in Manhattan actually lives there. They come in from other boroughs where there are plenty of gas stations. The ones bragging the loudest about being real New Yorkers are all from fucking Staten Island anyway, aka "New Jersey 1.5".

Well at least the trampoline had a net I guess. Still not the brightest to use one on a roof near the edge on a likely 100ft building

You're probably joking, but just because Aiden is a citizen of America doesn't mean he can vote. He's not a resident, so he wouldn't be able to register.
