Excellent TBR! Don’t worry too much about Red Rising. There will come a time with the plot and the characters that everything else will be forgotten, and you’ll just be engrossed in what is going on!
The seven year slip is amazing. My fav book of the year. Also is great for someone who is married. It really shows how to love your partner through all different phases of their lives even when you both will change and grow over time
Oh my goodness, I have only just discovered your channel and as a Newbie Booktuber your videos are so inspiring, you are doing a brilliant job and I love your recommendations!
this is such a great TBR! Have read most of these and can confirm they’re worth the hype 🙃 I have to say Dance of Thieves is my favorite, one of the best books I’ve read! 😍
I have Red Rising sitting in front of me right now and I feel the same! Although, after finally seeing it in person and holding it, it's not as thick and intimidating as I thought! Can't wait to hear your thoughts! Enjoy!
The audiobook for Red Rising is really good. It may help you get more immersed in the world. I’m currently reading it and really loving it. I also have Better than the Movies on my July tbr.
I'm not sure if you saw but Katie Colson did a video "Best books of 2023" where she did all that research and pulled from a huge amount of booktubers! I highly recommend watching it ❤
This TBR is such a fun idea! I would love to do this for my channel someday. The Seven Year slip is also on my July TBR! And I hope you love Better than the movies, that’s one of my all time favourites ❤❤❤❤
I read red rising i didn't enjoy it just didn't like darrow but i have heard that the second book is better but i decided to not continue with the series
Booktubers- this is all new to me. I have just written my first book, it was picked up by Merack Publishing and I am ecstatic! Can this book be submitted to you for a review?
I don't know how diverse the reading typically is on this channel, I was just looking for new bookish channels to watch, but I definitely don't think I'm sticking around with the lack of diversity in this first impression.
I honestly didn’t even realize that when creating this video but I agree I definitely could have included more diversity. I’ll remember that for next time🥰
why do they need to be diverse...? not everyone has the same taste and usually its for an escape not for receiving hate for not having the same preferences? I absolutely love your videos and will watch you forever
@@KaitlynJaz So per of my statement I was looking for new channels of people who like to read books. As I stated diversity is important to me and I did not find it here. It is not hateful to say that there is a lack of diversity and the Creator also agreed that there could have been more. But for future references diversity is not about genre preferences. As a black person publishing underrepresents author/stories that look like me and other POC and marginalized groups. There is a lack of diversity in the creators that she chose to represent and in the books. I hope that helps. It's not hateful to want to be well represented and welcomed in a community I am looking to join. Since I did not see that reflected here, and by your response I definitely don't think I want to be here, I have chosen to move on and you should as well.
