I f8shed a black wholly bugger in YellowStone lake near West Thumb. My f8rst cast I caught a huge YelliwStone Cutthroat trout. I brought her in close to my legs and noticed the baroness hook was not in her mouth. She had taken the Wollybugger on the shank of the hook. And would not let go until I touched her on the belly. She felt like 10 pounds. Just as I lifted her out of the water. She let go and slipped quickly back into the lake. Thank you darling for the thrill.

Next take some granulated Horse tail hair, and wrap it tightly around the hook shank in open spirals. Take a bit of pigeon penguin ass feathers, and secure it to the hook with a bit of diamond shine donkey nut reflector coil... and there you have The Chernobyl pond fly

Dude....it's a fish. It doesn't care about the "pattern" lol. You can catch a fish with a cheeto if you wanted. I've thrown a piece of a stick on a hook before and some fish tried to eat it.
