Bit of a dramatic start to this one but here's some backstory - so it’ll all make more sense.. This was filmed on Rassams quietest day and time and the venue was ENORMOUS - so I didn't anticipate people an issue at all. I film in public places all the time and I've never run into a situation like this before- I'm used to filming in public places. The kids were only shouting over me whilst I was talking/introducing the video so I was losing focus and had to restart several times which is why I got so frustrated. I'd only ever like some consideration whilst I do an introduction (its a maximum of 3-5 minutes) ...I was also under pressure because the ice cream was melting...nightmare. I promise I'm not some grinch but I did go and speak to the two kids when I was done and they seemed blasé so .. that's that. Thanks so much for watching the video, see you next week!
Kids …. Don’t you just love em 😂. As a parent, my kids ( now 20yrs and 13yrs) would never have crossed the line and be disrespectful, they grew up with good manners and respect. Well done Leah, yet another challenge cleanly smashed 👍🏼
Being child free isn't an accomplishment something to brag about. It usually means you are a selfish, entitled, and materialistic which would also equate to you being single.
First off, yes it was fair for you to step in and ask for quietness for a few minutes. Out of curiousity which do you find tougher desserts/sweets challenges or meals? Love your content!
I would have challenged the kids to an eat off, then they would either of been sick or gone home in a hyper, sugar-filled rush 😂 - no seriously, I think you asked them strongly but politely. Great job as always ❤
Leah, another stupendous performance, accomplishment, achievement, leaving absolutely no doubt !Brilliant! You had every right to point out the obvious, which I’m sure the set up, that us viewers are not privy to, camera, lights, etc. was evidently not enough of a clue to those in the background. You had every right to request people to settle themselves as you were filming, and you said it in such a lovely way, commanding authority, and respect Just brilliant 💯 ❤
The first time I saw Leah get furious. Wow girl go get it! No one can get Leah down not even rude people nor a big meal . She will always win a challenge and still make our girls proud ❤🎉. Go girl keep it up🎉

Leah in my opinion you handled yourself like the professional that you are. You are one of the cleanest competitive eaters that I know and I respect that about you. I am curious how do you handle the sugar rush after a challenge like that?
Gonna get a bit real for a sec, but I struggle with an*rexia and recently challenged myself by ordering just the one waffle with basically all the toppings. Watching this helps me feel less guilty for actually treating myself for once. If it’s ok for you to eat four loaded waffles, then I’m allowed one every now and then. It’s all about balance.
Someone else i watch does an intro outside of the venue and then voice over for the rest of it, which i think is a good idea rather than long and loud intro's and outro's when other people are trying to enjoy their meals (unless the place is empty). I've always felt its a bit entitled when RU-vidrs go into a public place and do that, but i still enjoy seeing you do the challenges Leah :)

First I thought that you said it to adults for just speaking in the background and I was like wow that's the level of entitlement, but when you explained it was the school kids and they were intentionally making noises even though asked by the staff, it explained everything, you were right😄
Thank you, that’s validating to hear. I have this Britishness about me where I don’t like to impose but I kept having to stop and restart the introduction- I just lost my patience in the end. They were sat with two adults but they didn’t say a word to them. They didn’t even speak to me when I went over afterwards- odd
@@LeahShutkever I was wondering how old the kids were if they went to the shop alone. But reading that an adult was with them and did nothing. I have to say you showed restraint. I would have let the adults have it.

Respect cuts both ways and as such they need to know when they overstep the mark. Total lack of discipline and boundaries in their life, led to this situation. Hope you are safe and ok. keep up the great fun content and I hope they read these comments and take heed.

Sod the plate scraping it was fine already. I'm screaming at my phone ' just press the timer' and then my heart starts pounding, blood pressure rising, and I'm on the floor nearly dead! 😂
Absolute unit of a waffle plate! Seeing dessert challenges always looks good, but I'm a savory dude so I know I wouldn't be able to eat too much before I die, gonna need more than that time limit for sure 😂 but kudos to finishing the challenge even with the obstacle you dealt with! Not very graceful eating this time though, understandably however 😅
How you kept it that clean is either skillz or a miracle (ok - skillz 😂). I would end up looking like a 2 year old with a chocolate ice-cream lolly. Impressed you didn't go dump it on the noisy kid's heads too!

It’s your job, so step in when needed. Also, side note have you thought about expanding slightly?? Have the chef make your favorite element and film the process, tack it on at the end. The food always looks fantastic

You were far more polite with those half pint brats than we would've been. They would've found themselves in the bin out in the back alley covered with rubbish. Wondering how many calories that dessert was. The sugar intake would've had the spidey senses tingling while looking for somebody with a spatula to scrape us from the ceiling. 😃 Cheers!
Hardout, I'm proud of you for doing something their parents should have. This is your business and if those individuals did that in to a business owner, they'd do the same. You're not being entitled if their actions effect you. You entertain people that appreciate your skills. ❤🎉
The ice cream would be enough for most people. Way to go Leah. Sometimes children can be annyoing, so from time to time some adults need to come in and be polite.

I have kids and I don't think you sounded entitled. They had been asked by staff and still ignored them. I get it's a public space but it took you like ten mins to do the challenge they only had to keep it down for that long.
