Grand soir is a masterpiece. For me it’s like a mix of jazz club & spicebomb extreme but a luxurious version of both those mixed together . It’s a beautiful scent
One of the best perfumers and houses for sure. Nice overview Clemence. It's a shame Francis didn't get to be a ballet dancer, but experiencing his fragrances is like experiencing a beautiful dance in a way.
Grand soir has grown on me so much, such an elegant, sexy smell, with a note of high class. I feel like I need to attend a Russian ballet when wearing it

Whatever you say about Francis, it's undeniable he has got a finesse, that sets him aside from other perfumers. The masterpieces imho are BR540 and Oud Satin Mood, although I really appreciate the finesse and art put in APOM, Amyris Femme, 754, Aqua Vitae Forte, Grand Soir, etc.

👋 I got narciso Rodriguez for men for my birthday at first I didn't like it I thought it was too dark and depressing. but after a while wearing it again and again it grow on me. I now think it's such a dark sexy fragrance for the colder weather. Very nice🍷
I have Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Silver. It is a bit more masculine than Gold and it, as you said, "moves throughout the day". I think for me that means it changes and I smell different notes within it every time I smell it. It is so well balanced that every note is in harmony. Perfection!

Francis Kurkdjian is a magician! One of my favorite perfumers. I really enjoy Narciso Rodriguez for her. From MFK line, I love oud satin mood, grand soir, BR 540 extrait 💕

I really really love Grand Soir and its slight touch of rhum. Yesterday, I thought of you Clémence because I took a shower with a new body wash and it smells a little like Grand Soir, like vanilla and rhum. It is Desert Essence Spice vanilla chaï body wash. The body cream also exists 🤗

I loved Apom! I haven’t smelled Apom Man to know how similar it is. I’ve also had Aqua Universalis and Lumier Noir Fem. I use E. Arden Green Tea Deodorant and body cream. I think there’s a few other things I’ve had, and found out that he was the perfumer.

Thanks for the informative video, Clémence. I got a sample of ‘oud silk mood’ delivered today, OMG! What a gorgeous fragrance that is! I have a few samples of the different fragrances and hope that one day soon I’ll get full size bottles. My favourites are: oud silk mood, baccarat rouge 540 edp/extrait, amyris femme extrait and grand soir. I have elie saab le parfum - very beautiful scent that gets you compliments.

Lol (I have seen this so much, teach them French Clemence, tell them it means house!" 😉. I love so many MFK fragrances almost all that ive tried have been great. Really enjoyed the 2 u mentioned in your top 5 (and want to purchase both) as well as many others. So far I own Aqua Celestia Forte, Aqua Universalis Forte, and BR540 but id like to get Aqua Vitae Forte to complete that trio and also Ammyris Homme Extrait/EDT(plus the 2 u mentioned). Dear Clemence what did you do to me?!:)))))) A few days ago I just ordered YSL Tuxedo, which was not cheap at all, and today (after watching a few of your videos) I had to order some fragrance samples too. I chose the following one: Scherzo by Harris Miller, Gypsy Water by Byredo, Royal Oud by Creed, Moonlight in Heaven by Kilian, Lady Vengeance by Juliette has a gun and, of course, Grand Soir by MFK. Hi! So, I had tried Grand Soir once before, at Saks Fifth Avenue, but couldn’t get the whole picture because I had also sampled a couple other fragrances on my arms as well, and they were all fighting over each other. I remember liking it close up however, so I started watching reviews on youtube and honestly majority of reviewers gave it a perfect 10/10, or they mention its their favorite amber or their favorite MFK, etc., so of course I had to get it. I finally received it today direct from MFK (in a beautiful presentation btw) and I can honestly say this is love at first (ok, second) sniff. As soon as I sprayed it, I knew. It was better than I had imagined honestly, and for how simple it is, it is still deep and rich, and slightly complex, maybe because of how well it is blended. I just put one first spray from the bottle on the back of my hand and the wafts coming to my nose in waves have me mesmerized. I can only imagine smelling this on someone else as they walk by. I know it is warmer months ahead, but i cant wait to give this more wearings at night.
I ordered samples from MFK after watching this the first time - gentle fluidity gold is DIVINE but it only lasts an hour on my skin 😭 Also while grand soir is a bit more formal and grown up than I’ve every worn, wow this one is decadent luxury.. you feel regal.
Oh you can't be disappointed with grand soir it's incredible ! I've tried to wear gentle fluidity in gold with some rosy Oud oils from scent Salim and it was wonderful and more lond lasting !
Can you make a video also about Quentin Bisch? I didnt know him until I became curious about the Fragrance Ganymede. I did a search on the net, and found out that he did several fragrances that I liked. Thank you. You are very pretty and bubbly. =)
Heya Clèmence. I received gentle fluidity gold today.(i got the silver already). Both are great. And i can confirm, when layered together... 👌 wow. But both are great on their own too. And if anyone out there thinks GFG leans feminine... then layering sorts that out.
I do love Bacarat rouge EDP and gentle Fluidity gold. The problem is I can't smell them on me (do they die on my skin or are they really present but I can't smell them???). Really frustrating because I really love baccarat rouge and I want to smell my perfume on me. 😒🥺
Owww that's very frustrating indeed. Something your sense of smell decide to not offer you to smell your fragrance. Maybe try to layer it with some oils
Yes....that is why I did get the 540 extrait. This works better on my skin. The drydown is the same in botg perfumes. The opening of the extrait is more of an almond smell. But they smell the same!

It is pure masterpiece, hands down 🙌 frankly speaking, I do not get the BR 540 at all ☹️ I can recognise its high quality and artistry in blending, but saddly just don’t love it on my skin. It was nice to be able to choose 4 samples from MFK site for 14 euro, i think i will pick an another one. They all smell like luxury, simple but rich, the prices are a little high but i couldn't not buy on sale BR540 and Grand Soir. I like Amyris too but it's more soft and a little more feminine then GS; Oud Satin Oud extrait is very strong like an oud nuclear bomb, i prefer something more balanced like PDM Carlisle. Gender Fuidity Silver smells like juniper. Yeah, more and more often i find myself wearing LE MALE less then others, just by mysefl couse its remembrance, out of fashion vibes: i liked it, but it's like it can't stands up with modern, more rafined works. I think it should costs at least half: it still costs like 2/3 that what i've payed Grand Soir and BR540, it costs the same as Terre d'Hermès that is my favourite designer fragrance. It has some issue: after reformulations it lasts much less, it start with too strong lavender for moderns standards, and while the drydown, after a while it develops a little bitter taste if you smell it near the skin
