Bree has always and always be my favorite character. She had the biggest growth and actually dealt with the most trauma next to Katherine. But regardless for better or worse she was an amazing friend and a very good person. I didn't blame her when she was " fuck y'all " to them. They deserved it.
Nice call back to season 1 of Bree covering up a crime! Only in the final season did it take a complete dark turn. If Mary Alice was still alive I think she would have been able to keep the other ladies calm.
I really didn't like the way Carlos treated Bree after knowing Andrew ran over his mother ,after all Bree did for him in covering up his tracks , that was pure ungratefulness of him .
@@adambosilong4823 That incident happened way before this. Carlos was rightfully furious at Bree at first but he forgave her after she voluntarily stepped up to protect him and Gaby the same way she protected Andrew all those years ago. It’s only then that he understood why Bree did what she did. The other ladies following this scene on the other hand treated Bree horribly causing to isolate and drink again.
@@adambosilong4823 you're mixing up the chronology. Carlos was angry with Bree about covering for Andrew all this time and then the Alejandro incident happened and Bree might have felt like she owed Carlos for what happened with his mom.
Sorry but Luynette and Susan were the most realistic ones, it was a body of a person, not something you take out of sight and it's gone, as Mary Alice said this is way bigger than Bree was thinking. It was silly trying to cover but it was a tv show, I liked the following steps. Bree definily could be a serial killer, she distorts the things to make sense for her and is cold as ice wen she wants. lol
@@fantasyfamous6422 Susan is not a jerk, just human. I don't know you, but unless you did a crime like this, you probably don't know how that would affect you. And Carlos who was Usually a tough guy almost confessed to the Police.
I remember being so stoked after this episode as to how the hell they'd get out of this. But - and it's been years now - I think I remember eventually being disappointed and felt like it was time for the show to end. Probably even before this season.
Well, yes, but the context in that scene is entirely different, Bree had not killed Rex, she was not hiding him and in a rush to get rid of the body. Moreover, that was the Season 2 premiere, set in 2005, this is the Season 8 premiere, set in 2016, over 10 years after that event, and way after Bree's primary characteristic stopped being her OCD.
Bree has never been diagnosed with OCD. She likes things to be clean and tidy because her mother was killed by a car, and her blood was all over the street. Bree washed it off and then she felt better, also in 8x17's flashback we see how tidy Bree's mother kept her childhood home. She searches through a stack of newspapers and casually drops them on the ground, she leaves birthday cake on the dining room floor for a couple of hours and she lets Katherine clean the ovens when they're running the catering business together. But yh, Bree would have moved the plates XD
This scene later makes no sense Gaby was searching him for possessions and bree tidies him up But later Brees prints are found on him buy not Gabys? Why??
Exactly my thoughts. Although not the exact location, they'd know the general area, where his phone pinged off the tower, and that he likely didn't just go missing but was killed and buried. Plus, if he made or received any calls along the ride or in the house then they'd be able to retrace his movements through the towers. Not good.
@@stefanmakara373 Look it up. They get pings which go off mobile phone towers so the cops know the general vacinity of the last recieved communication & often times in what direction the mobile is travelling because of the date stamps from pings off the towers. Its not the exact location though, just an area.
@@heddalee Sure enough someone saw them and sent Bree a blackmail letter with the exact wording that Mary Alice received years ago leading to her suicide.
Susan and Lynette were right. Bree was used to discretion and self-control and Gaby was all about distracting herself and moving on, but realistically this would have eaten them all up inside for the rest of their lives. Not to mention that no true friend would ever ask another to do something of this scale. This plot line was a mess.
She had every right to freak out I mean she went from being a mother of a child to an accessory to murder it’s enough to make someone freak out completely and rightfully so they had that fear hanging over their heads that someone would find out what really happened and would go ahead have them arrested for the crime it’s got to be extremely scary for everyone involved
