I've never understood why survivors always want the 1v1. It proves nothing. If you lost, 3 chases, in a 1v4, what exactly is going to change in a 1v1? It's ridiculous, ego nonsense.
I agree on they fact that tunnel is a mechanic that we have to do in some games when we face a sweaty swf gen rushing not for casual players. The survivors could not like this tactic but the games push us to this.
Tunneling is boring too, do survs really think killers like tunneling? I'm sorry for casual players or for those who don't genrush, but given that at top MMR 90% of survs devour gens you can't afford not to tunnel.
@@illNicola When I was new and I thought tunneling is toxic I stopped enjoying game as it didnt take much games to face annoying survs (but also my experience was low) Now I have much more experience and with tunneling and proxy/face camping it makes game enjoyable. You still use your power, you still chase ppl. I dont know whats boring there but different ppl different opinions.
@@swampi1143 before like 2020 tunneling was toxic because it was completely unnecessary and dbd was in a completely different state. Now you HAVE to camp, tunnel and slag. If you talk about the fact that tunneling makes the game enjoyable for killers, from a winning point of view, then I agree. But it's not pleasant to apply. I don't know what you think, but having to chase the same asshole over and over again until he dies because otherwise the game is screwed, I find it sad and boring. I play to win, I don't care about the strategy I have to use, but it must also be admitted that having to always and only use one strategy otherwise the game is lost is boring.
As a killer main tunneling is the only option sometimes it’s not fun I wanna use my powers get in chases but in higher mmr almost every match is a sweat fest and certain maps are just sooooooo survivor sided …. Haddonfield baddham preschool…… cold wind farms garden of joy or whatever that maps called survivors spawn on the gens most of the time sometimes they all spawn together and if just one of them has a tool box they can knockout a gen 30-45 seconds we as a killer we have to find the survivors …… defend gens …… chase the survivors which by the time you get one survivor downed and hook they could’ve popped 1-2 gens sometimes even 3-4 really depends on the caliber of the survivors and what they are using and what maps but yes tunneling is the only option at times It’s not fun (unless someone’s tbagging then you tunnel successfully) tho I love dead by daylight but I can’t play killer too often at high mmr too stressful “. I don’t follow the survivor rule book not sure why people do” amen to that 😂
