@@PokeTech_2024 I did notice the blurry edges you were talking about. I'll have to wait until I set it up more permanently to tell for sure. Maybe adjusting the position. I did have mine about 20 ft away from the wall.
You cant have the projector at an off angle if you don't want blurry corners. Also, I seam to have a hair in perfect focus projected on my screen. As this is my first projector, how does one proceed to clean it out? I presume this will always be an issue with a hollow projector like this and the instructions just say to vacuum the lens. Do you know how this is done? Do you open it and void the warranty? I also noticed smudges on the mirror when I opened the vent. Do not call customer service unless you have patience. I'm the kind of guy that can't handle a dead pixel or smudges on my lcd. I'm having anxiety issues here.😁
We’ve had the projector for a couple weeks and are quite happy with it. Movies, Xbox and Netflix content play well. Although the colors are not vibrant, they are adequate. Sports, particularly football do not look great. It seems to have difficulty with the high level of contrast. For me, the focus issues were alleviated by making sure the projector was square the the wall it was projecting on. This is our first projector and bought it for some fun, inexpensive entertainment for our family. For $250, it meets my expectations and does what we expect it to do. It’s not perfect, but meets our needs.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Projector died last week after about 2 months of use. Fortunately was within 90 day return period at Walmart so I was able to get a full refund.

I bought this projector last week and ended up returning it. I was actually looking for a review before i purchased :/ I also noticed the blurry edges that just wouldn't focus ( wasn't a big problem ) but later i started noticing a mirror effect that would double the picture from the right to the left side of the screen , i didn't see that in your review so mine must've been defective.
I've never had a problem with mine at all. Unless I got the one in a million, it was worth the money and we've had tons of killer movie nights with this projector.
I purchased it and mounted it to my ceiling. Its very good for the price EDIT: Update after a month of use the thing completely broke for no reason and i returned it. Do not recomend.
Recently bought this factory refurbished unit with insurance from sqaure trade 75$ total. I noticed it won't do 1080 display setting on Roku , so I tried 720 and it works fine The speakers are good , don't use auto leveling or surround sound. For 75$ and insured for one year , it's whatever even if it breaks after a year. One more thing, the red is a bit much but after adjusting the colors specifically red ..it displays just fine. It's bright , much brighter then my 100ansi dlp projector
I saw it at Walmart for $300 I brought it. Then I went on amazon paid $59 dollars for it so that's a really good bang for my buck. I took the other one back and got my $300 back. Curious to see how long it's going to last. I have had it for a month and seems okay right now. I had a hard time getting the yellow not to look green. Don't like the fact that you have no access to the tint. WTH but for $59 I think I can deal with it. thanks for the review.
I picked this up a couple weeks ago and your review is spot on. I noticed the soft edges too, but mine's not so noticeable as to be troubling. Overall I'm really pleased with the unit.

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

I am gonna say this once. I bought two brand new I have two that don't work within 6 weeks. Unfixable and unreturnable after 15 days. I wish I had someone tell me how stupid I was after the first one. Don't be stupid. Take this advice don't buy this junk and if you do please leave a review when you do so others will know just how bad this product is. All I can say is well..I told ya
I prefer LCD panels, but I would like a projector for novelty purposes, like as an effects tool for RU-vid videos! However, at this price point, I would want the focus to be sharp.
First time it went down, another one was bought and within minutes, the broken one was put back in the box and the $$ was refunded. That was done 4 or 5 times and last time the projector was sold! Just another way to pull a fast one on the damn scammer that made this piece of junk!
It’s adequate, looks good enough I will stick with it. Have never seen an expensive projector so can’t compare. I run blue ray, x box and fire stick thru a receiver then to the projector. Am very happy having a 135” screen that looks this good for under 300$

I got the rca projector mostly has the same issue with focusing and lighting, doesn’t look good for gaming either best just for home theatre movies so if anyone wants to go with even cheaper projector that literally under $100 then I would recommend the RCA projector.
the box has 3 new Lumens specs : White Light output ANSI 215 LM White Brightness output ANSI 159 LM Color Light output ANSI 88 LM yes , the projector is still 3100 lumens . the 3 new specs are ANSI from the Home Theature commity group . question for anyone to answer : when i adjust the Display , Brightness , Contrast , Color lever ,... ( the on screen meter bars do move , as if it is adjusting ) the image Never changes ! it is always the same ! has anyone else seen this happen with their onn ONA19AV901 projector ? I've done a bunch of research on projectors, and saw one of these at Walmart. I was tempted to buy it, till I read the specs, and it wasn't straight forward with how many Lumens it has. That changed my mind. Seemed scammy, or something. The reviews pretty much confirmed my intuition. Lol

No you have to move the unit. You can adjust the focus which will change the picture size, but to get a clear picture the unit needs to be the correct distance away from where you'll be projecting.
Thanks so much for the review. I have this in layaway and this is the only review out there. For me the focusing won't be as much of an issue, (I'm upgrading from a 800p Vivibright LED which I'm sure is worse and I'm not a gamer) but I'm most excited about the improved contrast compared to the cheap projectors I'm used to using. The specs are pretty amazing for the price and from what I see in your review I'll be happy.

How does it do with ambient lighting? For instance, if I want to host a Super Bowl watch party, will I be able to have normal lighting to allow people to move around or do I need mostly darkness?
the light that relflects off the screen will hit your walls ( assuming your walls are NOT Flat Black ) . Thus No additional room lighting is needed . a completely dark room will no longer be dark , when using the projector .
Brought it before seeing review however I’m keeping mine but the only thing I can say I noticed was the blur issue during gaming however it all depend on how big you want the view I think 80 to 100” it’s not that noticeable
@@luckyduck5616 sure was but i wanna fist start off by saying the one i brought im assuming was over worked IDK i used it like everynight i love Flix-and gaming so yea for a full 5 weeks straight at least 5 hours a day maybe more and the dam thing one day was turned on and went complete blur i mean No Logo No menu that was visible and so i turned it off for a few and went back on sure enough it went back for a lil while and it happened to me a couple more times and well the box does say 90day warranty that should explain it all but i exchanged it instead of calling company i like the model great for the buck and i cant really say if this new one is gunna do the same but id watch out for maintenance (filters) there are two of them stil love it and use it just not as much lol

Hey, did you have any problems with lines appearing on the left side of the screen when something light was on the right side of the screen? I never see it going the opposite direction, only right to left.
Yes mine does the same thing, it is a contrast bleeding, It's mostly prevalent during credit roll, or dark scenes with a couple of bright objects on it, like say a scene were somebody's walking through a dark area with a flashlight. But I never notice it during bright lit up scenes. So there's nothing wrong with the unit, it is just a by-product of lower end LCD projectors. But still, it's a pretty decent contrast ratio for a little LCD screen no bigger than a cell phone, with a powerful light projecting through it.
@@aarongreenfield9038 I kinda thought that was the case. I ended up returning it and getting another one. This new one is better than the last, but probably in the way that I configured the color/contrast settings. Thanks for the reply, I am thoroughly enjoying the projector.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to mine, after a few weeks of use, I thought I'd bite the bullet and get another one, and this one has been working fine for the last few months, so these things are a crapshoot, You might get a good one, you might get a bad one. I also noticed on my new one, the lens was a lot clearer then the old one, the old one had a kind of foggy hazy lens, that I couldn't clean, no matter how hard I tried. Very Inconsistent quality control!. I'll update if this one craps out!
Charles Aragon it’s too late for that. I’ve already had it for too long. But I have put hundreds of hours on it already. I actually quite enjoy it. The bleed is a bit annoying at times, but normally it’s not noticeable.
The projector will show up against a wall without a problem, however it is typically recommended to either pick up a projector screen as the used material and color of white makes the image look its absolute best.
Omg I just got this projector because the price and looking at the comments is making me return it XD.. hope it lasts 2 months so at least i get to enjoy it for a bit lol... By the way i connected my chromcast to it and it worked if anyone wondered about it
Can someone PLEASE HELP ME! I cannot get the sound to work for anything except the roku. No sound at all for firestick, cable box etc... please help bc I'm about to smash it. I even bought a sound bar with a aux cable... nothing
I discovered it didnt like the sound coming from my Cable box, but the Roku and my Xbox the sound worked fine. I ended up routing the sound through something for it to work for my TV.
I had mine for a few months before it had a gray screen so I took it to the store and exchanged it for another. Well this one just did the same thing and they dont sell them anymore apparently so I guess I'm just fucked out of my money. So disappointed :(
