Picked this up for 218 at walmart since our other TV died after about 5 years. So far so good. Not as good as our samsung tv but its still really nice for 220 bucks. The 4k option to view movies and games is great! One of the best features about this TV is the roku integration. Had a roku stick like 10 years ago and its nice to have it all together. Sorry for the long comment and thanks for the video!
No you are spot on!!! Roku + 4k at $220 makes this TV legit... Yes people will say it's not as good quality wise as Samsung etc but your also only paying a quarter of the price!
Just got the 43 inch size for $178 for my office, decent pic, I wasn’t blown away but it’s great for the price. The speakers suck but that’s easily remedied with a sound bar. I would recommend for the budget buyers.
Tacos de Cabeza I haven’t really used it for gaming but the picture is very clear since it is 4K. It’s a decent picture but it’s average at best, but if you’re upgrading from 1080p you’ll notice the step up in clarity immediately.

I’m glade I’m not the only one who came here because I’ve never heard of the brand either and i really needed 2 TVs but my friend bout this brand it her tv shows up clear to me so i bought it on the Black Friday sale I’m exited to open it and see how it turns out
This helped us so much. We bought a 65" from Walmart ...a Black Friday Deal for $228.00...And we have been through so much frustration trying to get HULU , DISNEY and such. We tried for over 2 hours on how to figure it out. We will try what you explained on Sunday. We are connected to a cable box...but after listening to this we may be able to make our cable bill go down immensely!! I will def give you an update. We have 3 TV's that can get this.
I just got 2 not long ago from Walmart Black Friday sale I was starting to lose hope I finally got it but let’s see how good they work Edit: Sorry I didn’t update it when I said I was but my grandma just died but I finally put it up it is nice and clear also I think the volume is pretty good.
I bought the 43" version which I ended up connecting my desktop PC and my Playstation 4 console. Until now I been using a 24" smart TV which runs at 1080p. I ended up giving my old TV to my mother for her bed room which was bigger then what she had.
I just got 2 65 inch from Wal-Mart's black friday... I was like "ONN what is that!?" Can't be mad I only paid 228 for it... but I did come here for reviews... I'm glad I got them
I have the small 32 inch Onn Roku Smart TV with 720p, I got it for only $99 as a refurbished one from on Walmart app, overall I like that it has the Roku built in on it instead of having to have the Roku streaming device separately
Nice Review, really never heard of this brand, so I'm a bit hesitant! Wal-Mart has a black Friday sale coming for a 65inch so was thinking if I should try
Got one last week exactly and once it’s broken in it’s really good 55inch 4K for 270$ at Walmart can’t complain just wish it gave me access to video settings and I hooked mine up to a jbl party box 100 def need a sound bar or external speaker cheers 🥂
I just bought this TV in 2024. And it’s very nice, the speakers are the only thing i dont like and i personally hate Roku but theres a setting to boot up straight to HDMI or a Chromecast which is a huge plus. The 4k option in tremendously good for the price.
Did u have any problems scanning ota channels. I did the scan and can't get any channels. Its the same antenna I has on a plasma and it worked fine. On this TV I can't get any ota channels.
I won one of these bad boys at my local plasma donation center. Wondering if it’s better than the current tv I have. Really I want the HDR feature for gaming. I know it says it has it but so does my current tv but it doesn’t actually have it. Hopefully I can get this figured out!
So helpful! I just bought the 58” from Walmart for $227. I also have a 65” that I paid almost $500 for... definitely wish I would’ve seen this onn tv first. Could’ve saved some money😩.
Sorry, but I don't think this was much of a review. It was more about the Roku features, which are 90% the same as a Roku stick. How about performance? Did the streaming apps work well? Do they buffer, freeze or crash frequently? Is the processing power of the system up to the task, or is it slow?
@@TheGracieVshow Yes you can use Amazon’s Prime Video Applet as I love using that one myself. As far as the Bluetooth goes, No. But what you can do, which I also do when not sending it through my Surround System is use the Roku App on your Smartphone or Tablet. This allows you to use your headphones, or Bluetooth via that secondary device to access whichever you prefer like Bluetooth Speakers or Headphones. Plus the Smartphone App also gives you the option of using the Mic on your device to do searches bypassing that annoying typing via the remote. Hope the info helps.
I really enjoyed this review overall! Thank you so much for creating it! My only request is that I was hoping you would go over the Audio and Sound quality. It seems that tv's tend to have strange speakers and I can never find information on those specs. Thank you!
Did it say yours was a 2019? I got the same one as you and it looks completely different... The feet are actually metal & the screws are silver not black...
Beastmode ADL Lol, I already returned the tv. The (HDR) picture was shit, it would switch to hdr mode but the picture definitely wasn’t hdr. I know because I had a true hdr tv before and I compared the two side by side.....big difference. I now have a samsung 60” and the picture is amazing.
Same here just got it two days ago and far as I can tell it does when in bet flip it tell you what show are 4k or hdr and when playing hrd movies hdr logo pops up in right corner for few seconds and goes away!! Nice tv works good so far just hoping it will last!
Just bought the 29' for my kitchen and the audio sounds like you are far away! Why? I tried going to the volume control and made adjustments but still the same
Mine sounds awesome. I adjusted every control for audio and put it on Theater mode. No TV I've ever seen sounds exactly like a Bose or Infinity stereo but they make sound bars for that.
@@joelgomez9651 ok I just got a 32 inch for my xbox and it's on the roku code screen but idk how would I get to the hdm1 channel for my xbox please tell me how
I can tell ya 1 NOT TO BUY IS > VIZIO ! sound suck! and the memory get hung up, never could set the date and time on it either. Had me in Alaska he hee i'am in Texas ! So that sucks to. but its got a good picture !
@@MsShellybell12 The sound bar the audio is good I try it with a. Movie like the Trailers of the movie And sounds great If you want I can make like a small small video But I ust it mostly for video games
I work for Walmart let me tell you it's not a bad beginner SmartTV at all I see the SmartTV's in stock and let me tell you the Widescreens are pretty damn big I only need a small one unless I live in a mansion haha.
Great question. I am going to film a video (hopefully this week) showing HDR quality on this TV.... I'd say its on par with TCL... brightness could be better but for a TV this cheap its understandable
It flickers a lot! I use it with my ps4, and I can’t even play because altough the hdr sign comes on, there is a lot of static on the screen, can’t even play in peace.
There is 1 thing i don't like! >> that the volume control on the side of the remote ! Every time i grab it, i turn the volume off !!! there 1 more thing the remote needs is, a magnet to hang it Course i glue 1 on it >> That way i can hang all my remote beside me on the light stand
I bought a 50-inch ONN at Walmart for Christmas. It worked fine until tonight. It turns on then it turns off immediately. It is less than a month old. I charged it on my credit card so I have to continue paying for a tv that won't work.
I bought the exact same one featured in your video but the only bad issue is the sound when playing a show or movie on the apps i literally have to turn the volume to 100 and it's not good! I tried all the you tube suggestions but they do not help at all. I'm calling the customer support to see what the issue is or if it's just a poor sounding TV and return if that's the issue. I will get back to everyone here in just a few moments.
Ok I called and when you start to watch your movie or show from your roku app. #1 Pause the movie/ show #1 click the star * button on your TV remote #3 click "volume mode set to "night" settings. Then enjoy your movie/ show. You're most welcome! God bless and Happy Holidays
I bought an ONN TV and it quit working after 6 weeks. Walmart wouldn't take it back and it was supposed to be covered by a warranty but they wouldn't honor it.
This tv is amazing just bought one yesterday. For the ones who already have this tv what type of tweaking have you done with the picture setting because I am really not a fan of the picture setting right out of the box. Other than that I have no other flaws with this tv.
Yes,out of the box it is not great ...but with some tweaks it looks great! First go to the settings for your inputs and switch everything to HDMI 2.0 - that way you actually get 4K on all your inputs. For some reason this is not on in the default settings! I’ve played around a lot and have different settings for certain things but this is the basic one I’ve been using the most and everyone is happy with it so far This is on normal mode Brightness to normal Backlight 90 Brightness 44 Contrast 100 Sharpness on 55 - on some movies I turn that down to 35 for less noise Color 57 because I like it colorful lol! Tint 0 Dynamic contract on Temperature normal If anyone has other suggestions for better settings - let me know! So far we are very happy with this - much better picture than any TV we’ve ever had and most of them have been TWICE as much money lol
