What if we set it to manual mode and the water tank overflows like before and the unit on top of the tank gets in contact with the overflowing water. Will it pose any damages? Also will impurities stop the float ball from moving freely on the string? Any long term reviews?

The unit on top of tank will not be immersed by the overflowing water. Usually there is an overflow pipe set for the water to go through. Even without that, it is impossible. But don't fix it inside the water tank, in cases where it is a concrete tank. Keep the unit outside the tank as shown in the video. And Debris in water doesn't usually cause problems. It can be used with different water qualities, including waste water pumping.

If it is a normal switch it can be. If it's a Push ON Push OFF type switch it's not possible. But we do have models which can be used for such pumps.

How does the motor start when the water reaches the minimal level ? Could you explain it a lil bit?

The weight of the dead weight increases when water level goes below the dead weight (Removal of buoyant forces). This causes the switch to activate and start the motor. For further clarifications feel free to call or whatsapp us on 9447926517.

Rewire this with an impulse relay and modular contactor. Connect the impulse relay contctors in parallel with the start button of motor starte and the NORMALY OPEN contctor in series with the stop push button. Impulse relay will take command to switch on or off the impulse relay and you will have electrical isolation between high voltage and low voltage control ciruit.

It is like level switch, working on the basis of mechanical principles. So we are not suggesting it for press on off model switches with starting capacitor. You can use it input breaker of a contactor.
