@@junkfoodguy doesn't need to be cheaper - just available. If LCBO is cheaper, I'll buy it there. But if they're closed or simply more convenient, I'll pay a [slightly] higher price. More options are good.

I work as a driver and LCBO strike put a hold on alcohol orders for a day and I couldn't make enough. Next day, people started ordering wines or beers or whatever brand they can get from wherever they can get. 😂
LCBO holding Ontario taxpayers as hostages. Btw, Ontario taxpayers are the same people already paying for those overpaid, spoiled brat extortionists' wages.....while they're striking as well. Next, the strikers will demand meal allowances and company cars.
I can't think of a better way to ensure your own demise than to send all your customers to your competitors while you walk around with signs and show people why you're no longer necessary.
This is a case of the union pushed to far , now 25% of them will loose there job , should have picked a better time to push for more money or what ever ?

If LCBO workers are trying to make the residents of Ontario mad by not only changing their mind about opening some stores the strike but also telling the residents of Ontario where they can and can’t by alcohol then they’re succeeding.
so do these LCBO workers make about the same wage as regular cashiers or store clerks . like , Walmart or Giant tiger workers and so on , they do basically the same job , so similar wage should be enough . IMO of course . LOL

That's the same hourly wage for tractor-trailer drivers within cities. And that job is screaming "stress". They need years of skill and endurance and extensive knowledge before they're offered such a high-risk job driving within cities. But LCBO cry-babies' skills, knowledge, and stress are like lying in a crib. I'd like to see them tackle driving tractor-trailers at $18/HR..
Exactly.. Like why is there even a union for the LCBO.. They are retail workers. It is not like they have specialized skill sets or societal responsibilities like doctors, nurses, teachers, auto manufacturers, construction workers have. If they don't like their pay then find a new job. There are unemployed people who would gladly take and could be up and running with two weeks of training. Not all unions are necessary.

Today I saw a group of these workers picketing outside and I rolled my window down of my truck and I told them to get a job and called them all a bunch of losers 😂
