Chris, even though it's 2 years later, and none of those parts are probably available in your Store anymore.... The homemade, interlocking Interior is pure GENIUS!! 😎👋👋👋👋👋 And THANK YOU for getting me into Magnets! I haven't seen an UGLY Body Pin since 2017!! 👍👍 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Yeah ready nice Chevy!! Love the body mounting system that's awesome. Appreciate you sharing this. Always enjoy your videos. Always something new to learn. Thank you
Very clever interlocking Body, Chris!! She's a Beauty too! YOU have gotten me completely hooked on Magnets for Body Mounts. 😱 I'm so glad you did!!! Carmine 🚂
Wow,great job bud! The chevy came out great, really like your custom mount for the rear.and it almost looked like magic when you dropped the bronco body and it went down perfect on the chassis.nice work.
Real nice setup Chris well thought-out lay out and it will be real light for you so let us know just how well that it works out for you. Grate video my friend.
dam your work is always so good. Makes me have to step up my game. My build is on hold as of now because of weather, but when spring hits I will be doing a lot of scale stuff. Keep making sick builds
This truck is astonishing the interior with the mate seat is 👌 and I simply in love with the old body trick painted full off rust the only things sad about it is since you see à engine in it it’s to bad you can’t lift the hood but I presume from a lexan body it would be an extreme job ..... I just don’t even know if it’s possible other than this I hope you win a lot of price for this truck simply love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You just win me over as a regular follower 👍👍👍
Thanks for the comments! Our 49 Chevy rebuild video just came out, and it's also LEXAN! with full opening hood and everything. Check out this link for the whole review: ru-vid.com_videos?ar=1&o=U&sq=chevy+3100
I bought some of those magnets after watching your "SCX10 Magnetic Body Mounts" video for my SCX10 JK project, they are awesome and stick like chicken snot to a shovel *lol* I even made some washers out of .5mm styrene to go between the magnets as I wasnt sure how well the magnets would stick to lexan and they still hold the body tight enough to the truck so I can pick up the truck by the body. Ive just bought a 20 pack of magnets for $13 US to go on my SCX10 II and my up and coming hardbody FJ project !!........
Hey, amazin done) wonderful paint finish love that maybe possible also to use the magnet mount as cable contact for wires to use led lights without a plug between chassis and body just bring currant to the magnets and wire from there to lights just an idea sry bad english ) greets from MAG
What is the wheel with on the chevy body i am looking to do a 60s are 50s model ford and was wondering what with would work good on the venture and was wonderiong if you no if theres a interiorto fit a 60s ford
Very nice build like always! Where do you get the magnet rings from? I’ve never seen them and I’ve always thought about putting them over the body posts then cut top of body posts for the magnet
GCMRacing1 - Scale Truck RC in Canada the one I modify when I printed it out I did the heads in pla silver with steel it looks like real alloy I can send you a picture on Facebook
I get about 700mah draw off the brushed motor trail trucks, and about 1200mah of consumption off the more comp trucks. So, by the math, the 1500 MAH 3s battery in a trail truck will get me an easy 2 hours (and it does) and the comp trucks closer to an hour of beating.
It is not your grille YET! I have it here ready to go! I will do the finish detail soon, and my lights also. I have a winch on the truck now also, and wanted to make sure it would all fit inside!
thank you i no most of the time they paint the clear bodys from the inside sorry about the dumb question. I have only been doing rc for about six months only have a rtr so far but thankful for all the help!
Never a dumb question. I've been doing lexan on the outside for the more 'weathered' look and inside for the 'shiny' look for some time now. I like the outside paint best, mostly because you can just glue stuff on the inside... like a firewall, or inner fenders, or whatever... and it doesn't affect the paint at all (because it's outside).
