Nick is great, and he sets an example by wearing a helmet on this dangerous structure. But Brian looks good too and handy on brickwork and carpentry. I think they will need a good plasterer and also a roofing man skilled with tiling and flashing work.

I think they were decorative pieces on top of the dormer windows. Based on the old photographs, each dormer window had either one or three of these atop.

Oh yeah, there's a German channel that had three or more videos of the guy building two or three metres of brick foundation a week in a row. Then building control shut down the site because he didn't have permission for the foundation rebuild (he didn't need permission for repairing the timber frame above like for like but he did as soon as he touched the brickwork underneath and he didn't know that).

Yes, having the extra people really is helping as I advised Dan a year ago. He needs a team of 3 or 4 to make progress on this massive structure. Not only for safer working. Lifting and maneuvering new materials, but also as a buddy system in case someone gets hurt. Working alone on this type of remote project is suicide. Well, he has finally taken my advice, and look how progress is rocketing!

I totally forgot about that. And now look where he is. So cool
