This song is a beautiful description of the soul of the Ukrainian people: strong, free, resilient, united, independent, and powerful. If you close your eyes and listen to this melody, you will think precisely about these qualities.
This is my favourite interval act of all times! Gosh, I can watch it again and again! The medley in combination with the orchestra is phenomenal! Like the past and future of musix on one stage. Incredible! Can't sit still watching this, have to dance every time I'm hearing it. Thank you so much Ukraine! Greetings from Germany!
The best interval act ever! So exquisite, unique and authentic. Ukraine is setting the trends. After Ukraine's recent performances so many slavic countries choose to perform in their languages. This is how it should go, every country promoting their own authentisity. Eurovision must come back to Ukraine!
Love Ukraine trully and deeply
Was lucky to witness this incredible performance live. This was the best song of the evening even despite being beyond the contest. Suddenly the whole crowd became mesmerized. The gap between this song and all the contestants was immense. Such outstanding and unique experience.
Very lucky indeed to have seen this. There is something unique about this artist. I've become hooked & sometimes I have to ask myself why I think she's so good. Would love a musicologist to review her music on RU-vid. There's legendary acts like Jim Morrison, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Sinead O'Connor & Bjork & she's inspired by all the above and it shows. Still absolutely criminal that she's not as famous internationally.
Ukraine send Onuka for 2024 please??? Best interval act EVER. This introduced me to the Ukrainian music scene and I am so thankful for that. I listen to Onuka regularly along with so many other artists now because of this incredible performance. ❤
The Onuka will not go. From us to Eurovision comes the performer who will win in the National Selection ("Vidbir"), and the Onuka did not participate at all. But (maybe it will interest you) this year, Melawin (Participant in Eurovision from Ukraine 2018) participated in the selection. He and the duet Alona Alona with Jerry Hale are now my favorite. Looking forward to the competition on February 3
Because Eurovision acts have strict limitations like no live music allowed, not more than several people on the stage, songs must be not longer than 3+ min, etc. All people who say "why this was not a contest song?" are probably not aware of that
I was at the dress rehearsal the night before the finals, and I was blown away by this performance. It was so unexpected and so good, I danced like a maniac. At the finals I already knew what was coming so I rattled everybody around me to not leave during the break and they all were glad they didn't. You have new fans from Germany. The performance was brilliant! Thank you ONUKA, NAONI and thank you KYIV!
Yep! : ) Both albums "Vidlik" and "Onuka" are current in top 100 in worldwide iTunes album chart. In addition, "Vidlik" is on a 12th place in European!
Thanks to Eurovision I could fall in love with this amazing and unique band and I´m going to their concert here in Prague in some weeks !!! I can´t wait to see them live !!!
And also, it is impossible to combine rock with an ethnic song, just as you cannot combine rap and ethnic singing. These things are not compatible even in theory. Meanwhile, Go-A and Kalush: Did someone say impossible?
CarpeNoctem410 kennst du diesen Mega geil Band? Wenn the Hardkiss auf ESC würde, würde Otorvald in Vergleicherung mit The Hardkiss als Scheisse zeigen.
Dmytro Ivasjuk I didn't watch eurovision since 2013, I really enjoyed this year's show so much, the presenters had a great dynamic between each other and the interval acts were incredible, I was so shocked when Ruslana performed and of course Jamala's performances were incredible too :D
@@hellensovastr Recently been watching his city sounds documentarys sampling street sounds. He's definitely the Ukrainian Jean Michel Jarre, reminds me of him very much what with his philosophy about sound. Both of them are stunningly talented amazing people. Yet still barely known in western countries.
