Great stuff! As a small kid in the 60s, we lived around the corner from Normie's house in Northcote, Melbourne - I can remember walking past his house around 1966/67, and his house (his parents actually) was covered in fan graffiti. My mum knew his parents, but I never got to meet him, we'd moved away from Northcote by the time he went into the army.
