My dad had a boat when I was a kid in Florida, then Canada. The cliche, hole in the water was tossed about. I did not learn anything, and bought my own hole in the water, so to speak, a house. 😮. Eh, what are you gonna do. Go sailing ⛵️! Cool. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Oh yes...Sub'd to the sailing channel.... 👍 🤔 Are you thinking of retiring or making YT your source of income? If you are working full time you will not have enough leisure time to enjoy a sailboat and two motorcycles IMO YMMV I'd be tempted to reduce the T120 videos and concentrate on the sailng and touring videos
Many thanks 🙏 and thanks for tuning in. 2 boats and 4 bikes, people asking have I won the lottery buying 1 boat 😂 love that you also have a t120 👍 cheers Nick
I love your content, very interesting, I have an an Mt10sp 2022 and a street triple R 2023, love both. I'm also considering a T120 2023 , a man can't have too many bikes. I'm In OZ originally from Wales, 47 years ago, by the way love the boat you bought, that's something I always wished for too.
The Bonneville sounds so sweet, running like a dream. How long would it take to dredge that dock once they sort out who, pays? Great video, enjoyed riding along on a sunny Spring day.
Sounds exciting Nick...will be great to sail around Spain, Greece and Turkey. Boat looks great. Have you done a lot of ocean sailing. Love the med but not so keen on Tenerife. Went there with a pal who owns a studio in Los Christianos....thought was an awful charmless dirty place with ladies of the night in evidence ....hated the place. Good luck with your new adventures 😊
Thanks 🙏 done a lot in the med as used to live there. For Tenerife I stay clear of tourist areas and always stay at el Medano local place which I love.
Hi Nick, presumably you're going to sail it up here, could it not go by road? I've a really good mate thats local that maybe could sort it. I'm sure he leaves his Wagons and trailers at Glasson Dock.
Lovely day for a ride out to Glasson, shame about the gate problem causing issues with sand and berthing. Have you thought about Preston Dock, also you are not far from the Sports Bike Shop? I am not really into boating but I have subscribed and I am looking forward to watch you take to the seas for the adventures. Thanks Nick and hope to catch you in the next one soon. 😎
Hi 👋 yes looked at Preston too but maybe fleetwood is an option. Many thanks for subscribing, stay tuned for May when it all kicks off bringing the boat up
Bloomin Eck, a yacht!! You must've won the lottery! 😉 Best of luck with that...sounds like you've got some logistics to sort in the short-term, but hopefully it'll work out for you. I'm looking forward to seeing all these videos (boats and bikes)!
Good for you! I recently sold my, had from new - built me, for Benneteau Oceanis 38. It was supposed to be my retirement plan. I would sail it down to the Mediterranean for the summer and my wife would join me wherever I ended up. COVID and Brexit scuppered that plan. Owned it from 2011 but sold it for 2 reasons ( in addition to the 2 already mentioned). Firstly my wife decided that she didn’t like sailing not matter how calm the weather and I did not like the marinas on the South coast. Too expensive and not very customer focused. Premier have a monopoly which isn’t good for competition. I do miss it, the Boat, but not the costs. Still I have 3 bikes to keep me busy. Enjoy. I am jealous. 👍
Thanks John, it’s been a plan for a while now so glad it’s here. Agree on marinas in south double or triple the price of north west marinas. Ok sailing may be better in south but my plan to get her ready for Mediterranean so I’m ok with that for now. My wife and kids have sailed and love it so all good there. I will miss riding bikes though while on her heading to the med in a year for sure.
Great news Nick. I live in Cardiff so my boat is in Cardiff Bay but raced around Milford a few times. Just subscribed to your sailing channel so I look forward to seeing how your sailing unfolds…! Cheers.
Great news, not only do I love motorcycles, especially Triumphs. Currently have a Scrambler 900, but looking to get the Speed Twin 1,200. I absolutely love sailing too. Will be subscribing for sure. Looking forward to your new adventures. 😊
