I've been working in the tire industry for 27 years. One thing I've learned with installing new wheels is to test fit the wheels on the hub before mounting the tires. Just to make sure. I love your channel and watch your videos every day.

@Landon, 60 year old Electrician here, also worked in various other trades. From 20 years old I wore the PPE (before it was cool) and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had something bounce off those glasses. an eye injury is no joke, once your eyesight is gone there’s no getting it back , so stack the odds in your favor and wear the PPE!

Old trick for getting the hub assembly off! I’ve done this on d30/d44’s so maybe it’ll work on larger axles. Take a deep socket and wedge it between the c-hub and the hub. Then you can use the steering (preferably if the truck is running) to press the hub out of the knuckle. Worked like a charm on my XJ when my donor axle’s hub was more frozen than a Disney movie. Hope this helps!

Great video. About the new shop..... you've been giving us very short views of the progress (thank you) but other than the episode where you were laying pipe for it you haven't really spent some time talking about the "plan". How the two ships will merge and work together, what the new shop brings to the table, what will be in the new shop equipment-wise, etc. Maybe an episode about the new shop with some more detail :) that would be awesome.

Best thing I ever did with my 2nd gen dodge was the free spin lock in/out hubs. Next will be getting rid of the two piece inner shaft and throwing away the CAD.

Hell I can remember when Diesel was 29. A gallon that was way back in the 60,s now I'm giving up my age LOL 😆 yes I'm 76 years old and a retired veteran I would love to get a shirt but I'm on a fixed income and bearly have any money to go around as it is but I love to see your videos and thanks for the good job that you do
