I'm happy to announce my return with this new video, this time with the support of subtitles. You will also see a new format compared to the usual green table, tell me in the comments if you like this idea.
From sampling to the full structure of an entire LoFi beat, all done with the lovely op1, taking as a guide "Call me" from 90sFlav.

do u know if they’ll make an op-2 one day? because i’m thinking about buying op-1 but man.... i know it’s expensive that’s not the problem now, i’ve been waiting 2 freakin years to buy it..... but now i’m realizing it’s a 2011 tool.... which means damn lots of time since it was in the market, so probably i’d have to wait for an op-2 or something? also i’m definitely not buying op-z not the tool i need! thx in advance!! and congrats for the video

I love your creativity. One thing I’ve wondered about sampling is copyright. Is it okay to sample other people’s work and release it yourself? How does that work?

I feel insulted that you put lo-fi and vaporwave in the same sentence. Vaporwave and it's subgenres should not be compared to chill wave,synthwave and there subgenres

the song may not be exactly vaporwave but the whole audio / video aesthetic experience with this use of the samples seemed to me inherent, I'm sorry to have insulted something or someone

amenemo1010 it's ok. This is a rookie mistake. The difference between vaporwave ( but in this context I will be referring to vaportrap because this is a lo fi hip hop but the same can be applied to general vaporwave) is that: vaportrap tends to sample anything, computer sounds, modern songs and old 80-early 2000 songs, and pretty much anything else. Vaportrap is a mixture of modern with old, where as lo fi tries to emulate it, lo fi uses musical samples of piano, jazz, etc. And rain/ ambience sounds, and sometimes movie dialogue. I know this explaination may have been a bit broad but just go listen to blank banshee, NxxxxS, mana pool, and some more vtrap artists and the differences will be much clearer.
