@@Javeton It still does. I figured out if you Lift all with "shift/lift" and then drop it, it drops Single tracks. If you "shift/drop" it merges. GREAT!

@@mickd22 purchased two units. Both arrived with broken, non functional faders. And the customer service issues a RMA after my refund window closed. My reseller was cool enough to refund me anyways. But TE has cost me way too many trips to the post office this year. Their CS is a joke. Their reliability is a joke. I’m a bit disappointed by the whole brand. And this cheap op1f update is proof enough that they do what they want, in no particular logic. With next to no respect for their customers. I’m ok with issues, I’m ok with sending back units. But an unresponsive CS after such a debacle is a no go for me. More than 5000€ in their ecosystem, I can proudly say they don’t deserve anyone’s money. It’s all good when it’s just marketing. But wait and see the issues you’ll have. Their glorified, hefty priced toys are not worth the hassle. Already diverted all my gear budget towards more serious brands. They don’t care about losing customers. That’s their motto.

@@mickd22 oh. And I went through 3 op1f with bad screens. Ended up keeping the third unit, since it’s a known defect they refuse to address.

@@Studio_4to1 my OP1 field was fine too. Only issue I’ve ever had was a cracked OG PO screen on arrival.

You can use 2 tapes to get 8 tracks. Combined with merge feature it is pretty efficient

this means rendering 4 tracks and then copying them into a new one leaving you with 3 free tracks I guess?@@vagueversatile

@@skathious1 You're clearly joking but the m8 does have the function to connect to midi-controlled gear. The versatility is unmatched in the m8.
