Just wish we had spells like we do for ice where you can cast it on a friendly city (including vassals) and watch their land gradually change terrain type. Playing as the different primals is great but even with them you can not change vassal land unless you play cold based. I want to play a game where I can change the entire map to my terrain type that isn't ice and doesn't require me casting spells counted as hostile against my vassals.
I really like this build. Currently I am working on something similar with primal mammoth. The additional dark affinity, build in arctic adaptation and dirt cheap combat summon sounds incredibly potent
can you do poison naga build? i do not no witch culture is good for them can you help me i been doing unground builds and can't find one that good but i did do a dark one but it did not do good
dark is good, because skirmishers can benefit from dark passive. Another good options is the primal crocodile since it terraforms everything into swamps. I was doing Dark dragon bulds with skirmishers and it worked amazingly (dragon has a freeze/slow aura)
I think druidic terraformer will go from -20% elemental upkeep to -10% and even then. Between the heroes that give a -20% upkeep on unit and a little bit of investment on shadow for that -20% upkeep on magic origine unit, you can have some pretty cheap armies that hit way above their cost.
Yeah, I feel so too. These upkeep cost reducers let you mass up high quality armies very reliably and once you are a bit ahead in mana/gold industry you can easily hold a 2nd army or more.
@@Ic0nGaming somehow, hopefully upkeep reducer are capped at 50%, do unit reduction also reduce enchant upkeep on them or only runesmith cultural trait do that?
@@Undermine5 Afaik Enchantment upkeep is not subject of unit upkeep reducers, as these are two different sources of costs. The game "should" treat them separately. I never checked out if the maths behaves otherwise tbh though.
@@Ic0nGaming Also, I was thinking about that final materium empire buff that make experienced unit cheaper by 10% for each rank it have, it's one reason why materuim is one of my favorite affinity alongside all those building bonuses.
@@Undermine5 My personal favorite tree stays shadow. All those sick knowledge buffs make builds so super speedy, even after the nerfs. But the materium upgrades are among the best, I strong agree.
Powerful Evokers (Shadow) for that easier access to the T3 Ice Tome AND more combat casting. Also good seem to be Seafarers (Nature), as we have an obvious connection to ocean provinces.
