Kudos for the MC not simping over his childhood friend and it was so satisfying that she was being eaten slowly by the realisation of the person she trashed is the person she "loves". Her changing her mind and confesses over text and get rejected is so refreshing and the cherry on top she experienced being left behind crying, damn that was good.

Can I just say that the rival author is such a breath of fresh air? Usually in stories like this, the rival will use underhanded tricks to ruin the MC’s career, but this guy is just so wholesome. Even though he keeps coming in second place to a kid, he still respects MC’s skills and only wants a friendly and honest rivalry. Rather than being bitter about losing, he uses it as a motivation to try harder next time and that is a philosophy I can get behind.

Theres no simping here yhat word gets over used so much . Sure people get overly into things sometimes but thats actually pretty normal, it happens. This is based on raw human emotions and the turmoil it brings at times.

How does ending it in a harem require balls? It's literally the complete opposite to me. Shows you don't understand writing or human connections at all and you're just stuck in a fever dream completely disconnected from reality. If anything, not making it a harem is what requires balls since majority of readers always want Harem endings as escapism from their own incel lives.

Very interesting. I personally root for Yurie as she had a small window to know him and liked him before knowing he was the author plus thier date around the mall showing her kindness. As for michiru, she has the best story of redemption. The catalyst to the story and really bad I will give some defence in that she is a teenager that will make stupid mistakes and Yuta also mistaking comment that weren't directed at him (which was but she didn't know that). Yurie had it right that Michiru did forgot what she had cause it was just so normal to her and only after losing it she realised how important it was. Having Yuta not accept her when Michiru learnt the truth and then decided to accept his proposal was the right call as well cause she hadn't learnt anything yet. Not to say she needed to be umm r to lean. What she needed to do, which she did at the end, was apologies for real and start again as friends. As she says and recognises, she is starting from the bottom even with 10 years advantage.

I Think she is a perfect recreation of what a lot of people go trough today. By idolising unfaced characters around us. For example Corpse has said he will never do a face reveal because of people’s high expectations. And when u have as a traumatic childhood as she had it is very understandable that she over-idolised the person who kept her sane at those times. Her character arc is also banging.

Nah she's shameless. To her, Yuta is her property. This is the equivalent of that chick who keeps a guy in the zone but gets enraged when he moves on and starts dating. But let's be real, if Yuta wasn't the greatest writer on the planet none of those girls would even look in his direction. Hmmmm, I agree, and while I think the others might have idolize him as the author, before knowing Yuuta, they are also just getting to know him, I think anyone with any measure of success might have those who have preconceived ideas about them. The childhood friend knew him as Yuuto, and you could say she only started to try and treat him better after she also found out, so I'd say she's in a worse position no matter how you slice it. The others are fresh, and come with as far as we can tell, less abusive baggage, and that gives them a leg up. They haven't destroyed Yuuta's self-worth. That could change, but I think they are slowly getting to know Yuuta who just so happens to write their favorite story.
The story‘s tone changes quite a bit, to the point it gives me whiplash half the time. Going from cute dates and up skirt shots, with one girl and potential rape with the other. It feels like the author can’t decide what kind of story he wants to write half the time.
