On April 25, 2024, at the OPC Annual Awards Dinner, David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker and winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Nonfiction for his book "Lenin’s Tomb: The Last Days of the Soviet Empire," received the President’s Award for lifetime achievement.
