@@sometimesidreamaboutcheese Agreed, Dirt 2.0 tarmac physics are far from realistic. People love to hate on WRC but the physics are superior in that game. It's like Codemasters didn't give a shit because the ffb is virtually the same when transitioning from gravel to tarmac. The car just floats like it would on gravel. Anyways, I love to play Dirt because it is a well polished game with excellent maps, but the tarmac physics are just really, really bad.

It's a little difficult

There is a clear difference between Dirt 1 and Dirt 2 pace notes. At first I wouldn't pay much attention, but there are many situations where a ”don't cut” or ”careful/be brave” would be necessary.

The stages always have the exact same surface, regardless of game mode or time of day. You're probably thinking of a different stage. Higher up the mountain, towards the Turini summit, the surface is indeed all snow and ice.

Chances are, it’s 540 degrees. (That’s what a lot of people (including me) use)

Update: in his description you see Sensitivity: 50, which means he uses 500 degrees of rotation.
