The manual version is great. It's a dream going up hills especially when the turbo kicks in. Fun to drive. I have driven manual cars forever and would never choose automatic. Everything about this car is fantastic. Go manual.
I think there will be a 3rd revision of this engine. The belt will be substituted by a chain and it will work with an Atkinson cycle. However, I don't know if this new engine will be only used with the mild-hybrid systems. Too bad the new 1.5 HDI is also problematic...which is ironic, because the old 1.6 and 1.4 HDi could last for a long time
@CinemaClips I got new peugeot 208 GT 1.2 puretech 130. I have this car for almost 3 years and didn't happen a problem yet. Did you experienced anything? If so can you share to me I want to know what I need to care.
@@Egosiesta be sure to check the timing belt. look it up. It's a little worrying but knowing the issue can save the engine. Search about the wet belt degradation
