curry_wurscht It was my first car and I didn’t enjoy this time. Awful acceleration, high fuel consumption, poor equipment. I think Astra H hatchback/coupe is much better as a car for beginner.
I have my driver license since 10 months and drove in this time about 13000 km with my Corsa C. It's a good car, nothing special. But fuel consumption could be better
I had diesel version of this as my first car and i crashed it couple times it's pretty tough car and easy to use also cheap acces to parts gonna get one again for a market car
I think that this corsa has some problems... the acceleration is too slow, or maybe the road was a little uphill? Other Corsas 1.2 on youtube are faster than this.
these engines dont have constant output. Is very tipical that output about 150 000km is getting slowly down. That is my case also. I remember how "fast" it seems when I drive this car as new and now, after many years I drive it again, and difference was absolutly huge.
Ich hab den selben als meinen daily für die Stadt und zur Arbeit. Der Motor ist eine zumutung, grausam schwachbrüstig und kein bisschen sparsam. unter 7 Liter fast keine chance, eher 7,5l/100km wenn man halbwegs zügig mitschwimmen will. Elastisch ist der Motor auch nicht. Stattdessen fühlt sich das Gefährt an, wie schwer beladen und faul. Der Corsa ist laut und man sitzt unbequem. Die Lenkung ist zu leicht, das Getriebe verdient den Namen nicht, die Sitze unbequem, Motor laut und säuft wie ein Loch...grausiges Auto! Landstrassentempo im 5. Gang...100kmh zeigt der Drehzahlmesser runde 3300 Umdrehungen an. Dröhnt und kreischt hilflos das kleine Motörchen. Mein alter E-Kadett GT mit 1.6er/75PS ging spürbar besser zur Sache, bei identischem Verbrauch. War gefühlt leiser und drehte auch bei 100kmh deutlich niedriger.
