Excellent! Kadett was badged as a Vauxhall Chevette here in the UK but these Kadett C GT/E Coupes always looked so much better!

In Australia this is a Holden (GM brand) Gemini. Awesome 1.6L motor that was used in many different vehicles including a 4WD called Rodeo. Bombproof Isuzu motor in AU. Thanks for the memories.

Gm used a bunch of different names with it. Opel, Holden, Vauxhall etc

@0:50, well he almost made it till the finish of the stage. Maybe 10cm more and boom! See this is why the are no swedish rally drivers in WRC compared to Finns!

This car should have been wiping the floor with the Escort RS Mk2s and Fiat 131 Abarths in the seventies if only GM were an iota interested in rallying. The rag tag team running these cars back in the day, OPEL EURO HANDLER, were short of funding and never attracted mega money sponsorship like their contemporaries at the time,Fiat had Alitalia and Ford had Rothmans.
