do you really need to remove the front seat out? Or you can manage without getting the front seat and battery out? Are there any airbags in the bench seat for the zafira?
@@cenariusbg Nope, yep and nope. Did mine yesterday. Remove the bolts nearer the front of the bench first, slide the bench seat forward, then remove the bolts nearer the rear, then simply lift out. Center rail is easily cleared. FYI, the bench seats weigh about 40kg!
@@allieandmaria wtf! 40kg for a bench seat. I use my car for work often and I really hate the middle seat. It takes so much space. If i could remove it easily I would fit so much more stuff, but I am always in a hurry and never justified the time to remove the bench seat so if I have to transport something big I just ride with the 5th door open (in Bulgaria police is not that strict so i don't care much). Thanks for the information, if I do need to remove it at some point I will make sure that I have a buddy to help me out.
@@cenariusbg I'm converting mine to a car camper. With that bench seat removed (and taken to the dump (further dismantling makes the weight a little more manageable)), I can get a standard inflatable mat in there ~191cm. Those 30cm of now liberated space make all the difference. I can now carry 133 cans of beans for the same weight. That should last me a while!
They are 'threadlocked'. Grab some pipe to fit over your socket wrench handle to gain more leverage. I used copper pipe which, surprisingly, didn't bend.
