Grant was the most fun type of player to watch, crazy handle and athleticism, the type to cross someone up then posterize someone else

These guys have been around the game for too long now. Rather if it’s being a spectator out of retirement, or ofc playing a double decade amount in the league and I was respectfully glad to absorb knowledge out of these amazing demonstrations. This is why the mind is a crucially important part of basketball, you got tutorialized resources such as this OC gems. Some great stuff fellas!

The information and knowledge from these two pros is amazing. I love the way Grant explained the difference in his playing style during his Detroit days, then after major injury, how he adjusted his game to his Phoenix days. And Smitty was always a very smart offensive player (and a good 35.8% @ the 3 for his career). Amazing to watch, after Shaq asked him to explain "The Smitty" move, how all the pros (especially Grant and Reggie, whom the 3 had some battles in their day!) were VERY interested to know how Smith did it! Awesome vid.

Steve smith was more of a big guard not really a wing. He was versatile at the point and as a back to the basket player. The ultimate switchblade was scottie pippen and he played exceptional defense

Yup. Grant was always listed as 6'8" but in actuality he was about 6'6".5 or 6'7"

Always a little hard for me to understand how that moves illegal, obviously there is technical travelling on most drives so can be said for lot of thigs, maybe in practice usually done illegally, but also seems like could time skip portion while ball not in contact with hand, would be hard, same issue why can't jump and then dribble, it's a rule, but a little odd why?

Because he’s an nba player, duh. He’s not on their level but he’s played long enough in the league to have a certain amount of knowledge you can only gained in playing in the league.
