chronicbootytap they asked him… something about an old out of shape Terry Duerod showing him up at the gym somewhere in Michigan… not sure why that part was cut out of this
jaynaz2k5 He panicked and called a timeout back in College during the NCAA Championship. His team was out of timeouts so Michigan received a tech & lost them the game.
tehShif7 I'm sure you would've done a better job at Center as a freshman & sophomore right? I guess that's part of being just a "fan". Criticize everything, but not capable of 10% of what the person you're finding fault with.
1 year ago i had such an embarrassing play :') our opponent played really good full court defense and we were struggling to bring the ball up. So like 2 minutes after halftime, just after the sides were switched we had to inbound the ball from the sideline and it felt like it was just after a timeout and you are standing in front of the opponents basket. So I was able to get away from my defender and suddenly had a clear lane to OUR basket and scored a lay-up. The funniest part about it is that only half the guys in the gym got it what just happened. One opponent even wanted to inbound the ball from our side before the referee cleared things up. Most embarrassing moment of my life ^^
MrHosenreisser lmao at least some other guys were caught in the confusion as well. A similar thing happened to me but everyone else knew what they were doing and my dumbass still shot the layup, i ended up missing it too lmao.
Whenever it's Steve Kerr or Brent Barry's turn for story time, them courtesy laughs. Ever had those panic moments in school where you're up next for a presentation, and the guy ahead of you just killed it. That's what I feel for Steve Kerr lol.
Michigan's Fab Five earned another shot at the National Title in 1993. In one of the most bizzarre endings in tournament history, Michigan's Chris Webber called a timeout with 20 seconds remaining with the intention of setting up a potential game-winner against North Carolina. It backfired, however, when he learned that his team had zero timeouts remaining. Tournament MVP Donald Williams sank free throws to seal the win.
When I started playing basketball, I was told to protect the rim... kept getting called for the 3 second violation.... I didn’t understand why til about a year later lmao! Coach was always heated
for several years there has been a celebrity all star game during all star weekend. it's always a mix of former players and entertainment people from other sports, singers, actors, comedians and so on. JT was in 3 or 4 of them.
Webber had a pretty tumultuous run through the NBA, but he's probably best known for a gaff he made during the NCAA finals while playing for Michigan. He basically called a timeout while the team had none left. Its a pretty rookie mistake and that Michigan team is considered one of the best ever. He also was basically blacklisted from Michigan due to taking around 200K worth of money and incentives from a Michigan booster. A HUGE no no in college sports.
when he called a timeout in the ncaa championship when they were out of timeouts giving them a technical and taking away any chance they had to win the game
