Facts no respects for us. I see us winning in 5. I can feel it. This chip was written 2 years ago. There was a reason Kawhi got injured two years ago, there was a reason the spurs sent Kawhi to the north. There was a reason that shot went in game 7 vs the 76ers, there was a reason they dismantled the bucks. Raps got his one!
the raptors have always been doing well even without kawhi, but since demar kinda slows down in the playoffs we never got a championship but after the big trade we were able to capatilize and take home the w along with our first ring
Thta fade out of Lowry at the end walking with the trophy into the TO skyline at night. You can just feel him thinking about Demar wishing he could share this with him. Beautiful work.
I was at game 6 with dad, we've been basketball fans since 1987. We waited 32 years for the NBA Finals. There were tears shed. This was a father-son moment I'll never forget as long as I live
You have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how PROUD I am of this Raptors franchise!! I've been rooting for this team in the playoffs since they lost to Brooklyn in 2014. Then I cheered SO HARD for you guys when they won their FIRST EVER 7 game series against the Pacers in 2016. Then in the FIRST Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavs in 2016. Fast forward 3 years, and now we're talking NBA Finals and a possible championship?? I feel like a proud family member! And seeing the way Raps fans celebrated in the streets was such a Beautiful moment too! I'm SO JOYFUL for this team, this fanbase, this COUNTRY! #WeTheNorth
When I moved here, to Toronto, my friends told me the best thing about the Raptors is the fans because they support and believe in the team even though they can't get over the line. That drew me in to supporting the team wholeheartedly. This is for all the fans who had to listen to Bosh say he couldn't get league pass here and who had to watch Vince hightail it out of this incredible city. We The North. North Over Everything.
The last 8 min of that video almost made me cry after they started holding that trophy up the music the players speech’s. So happy to see this team win after so many years of watching them fail
As someone who’s living in the US away from my home city of Toronto... this made me shed a few tears to watch. Really special and made me feel like I was there. Next best thing.
All of Raptors’ fan will never forget those moments. We are not satisfied and let’s make a history! - 16 years fan of the Raptors from Seoul, South Korea
It's like I've watched a movie. The underdog Raptors after being down 2-0 against the highly favored Milwaukee Bucks won The Eastern Conference Finals by winning 4 straight games afterwards. Then went on to beat another heavy favourite team The Golden State Warriors to win The NBA Finals for the first time on their first try. Super proud of this Toronto Raptors Team. Stay humble & hungry. Congrats..! 👍👍👏👏💆
Ill be rooting for you guys . U maybe dissapoint my hope for my bucks winning . But im really touch by the passion and culture of canadian basketball . Thx open gym
Thank you my fella American. Canada is a beautitul place and you will always welcome with open arms...... It took us a long time to get to this point. I hope we can beat the odd.
@Son of Mountain the city deserved it kawhi is a special guy funny guy indeed . So much fun to watch but as a bucks fan every stroke he made in hes midrange is such a killer .
Chills when I saw the older footage of the raptors put up. Really hope this team can do it. I know it's super unlikely, but the first step to doing the "impossible" is to believe you can.
This brings tears to my eyes....During the finals, when I look at the end of the bench, I won't be seeing those who were signed late like Meeks, Lin or McCaw. I'll be seeing the guys who brought the Raps here and who should truly be a part of this first finals run....Delon, Jakob, CJ, JV and of course....DeMar. ❤ NBA finals Game LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!🏀🏀🏀
The amount of unforgettable moments that happened throughout these Playoffs for us are so special. Looking back on it like this is crazy since you're so locked in game to game as a fan while it's happening. There are a handful of moments I'm going to be talking about for the next 30, 40, 50 years. What a special season this has been. Kawhi's going to likely make his decision today and I'll be happy either way. If he chooses to leave he already brought this Country a championship. I'll never boo this man. Hell, if he wants to punch my mother in the face I'll look the other way. Though I really do hope he stays.
love this series should put the whole thing on bluray after the finals so i can watch them even when my alzheimers kicks in , never want to forget 2019
They should, but they'd rather have you pay for League Pass on a monthy basis.... that said, it's free for the next month, 'til the 22nd of April I believe. So now is a great time to rewatch the entire playoff run!
Proud of my city. the team, the players, for the fans what it means for all of us and most of all, my country Canada. Tears of joy. Got chills thanks to the raps. One more series to go above and beyond. #wethenorth
26:39 I will always come back to this vid for that moment! Lowry is the GOAT Raptor and we will always love him and he really deserved this chip. What a fucking incredible year that was.
We all fall to rise again. That's what the Raptors did this season. Tears, goosebumps, and raw emotion watching this. This is more than basketball. The North is strong and I know we will win. Let's go Raptors. Make our country proud!
Here waiting for the last episode of open gym,...championship episode,...but cant help to watch in awe...that now The Raptors are NBA champions....its still unreal
Recommended this series to all my bandwagon-hopping friends to get them up to speed. Excellent production values, incredible in-depth views, possibly unprecedented emotional connection to a team process...I don't know what awards this kind of thing qualifies for,but it should win all of them.
Literally had tears of joy during the last 5-6 minutes of this fantastic video. Mad respect for the whole marketing/promotion team, covering The Raptors. This was shot and edited beautifully. Especially that throwback content of Kawhi, as a rookie. God, I love this team, and this game. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow starting from 23:00 this video is absolutely unreal and right in the feels. Being born in 95’ I was born a raptor fan going through thick and thin moments but man am I proud of the boys. Never once doubted them this year, everyone did but WTN never did. Let’s go get this ring baby because anything is possible!!!! 🦖🏀
So proud of this team. This has just been a magical season and its still surreal to me where this team is right now. If the boys play the game they know they can play and DG gets his groove back, Fred keeps his, it's going to be fun to watch. Lets gets this.
Looking forward to the NBA Finals Episode. These videos are well done. Thanks to the camera crew and production team for putting together amazing videos of the Raptors. 😊😊❤💜💗 Let's Go Raptors!!
I’m so proud of this team man .. shit made me cry bruh... I watched them and supported them at their lowest of lows in the nba and never lost faith .. even after all the sweeps that we went through in the playoffs and all the heartbreaking losses to the cavs I still never lost faith in them because I saw the potential we had ... and now to see us in the finals and seeking klo and his kids in the finals too is something really special for us raptors fans .. what a time to be alive in Toronto
What a wonderful time to be a raps fan. The team has been through a lot of heartbreak in years past, but it just makes this moment so much sweeter. #WeTheNorth
It's been a magical season, sooooooooooooooo long in coming & Open Gym has produced stellar coverage of the entire process. Expect awards for this season bc y'all deserve them.
Kawhi is my inspiration ever since he was a player in Spurs. Now all hoopers in Canada look up to Kawhi like a hero. Humble but deadly on the court. Canada loves you Kawhi. Hopefully you don't leave us hanging.
I am hoping there is an “Episode 4” to show the journey against The Warriors. And maybe an Episode #5 showing the parade alongside players. I love these!! Thank-you!! 🇨🇦💕🏀💕🇨🇦
3:07 we all thought that DG messed up and fell and lost the ball at a crucial moment but in fact Middleton tackled him that is why he lost his balance and fell down. Thank you Open Gym for showing us the action from this angle.
tears of joy flowing right now.... no matter what happens, I'm proud of this team, i'm proud of this city and its fans, the best fans in the world..love you all
