Open Mike was brilliant, keep up the good work

Gary Pert spoke so well. Plenty of insight and authority. Little emotion in what he says. Just logic. Great to listen to.

That was a mark Gary took 100%. It was paid and has to be respected. He controlled the ball til he hit the ground. Best mark of all time!!!!

Fitzroy treated him very poorly after a lifetime of loyal service in the name of economic rationalism. Unfortunately football has become a business and nothing more. Integrity, moral values, loyalty and passion have thus become almost irrelevant. A microcosm of society as a whole. I watch only 1980's and 1990's footy nowadays to transport myself back nostalgically to a better world all round.

Not much of an accolade if Jason Dunstall singles you out as being a dirty player.
