Thanks for the nice lesson! I was wondering about one part of the clinical modelling, the "past history": Does it make sense to include it for this specific template? In another video you mentioned that for a specific usecase, it would be best to capture only the data that is specific to that usecase, to avoid the same information being recorded multiple times. So would it not be better to assume that the past history data can be pulled from an existing EHR store? Or do you want to keep it in just to allow the practitioner the flexibility of recording just the past history that is relevant to this usecase. Thanks!

Excellent question. If we are assuming that the patient has been with the healthcare system since birth, a section such as past history is not required. Since all of this information is already captured in past encounters. However, when we live with incomplete information, it makes sense to include “history collection” as part of the data entry workflow - I.e a use case. There’s nothing wrong in using another template as long as you capture it using the right archetypes.
