You were not wrong with the nostalgia of seeing all the old artwork! Its hard to compete with the Blastoise for me, but Alakazam is a very close 2nd here.

I have such a love for the original Poliwrath art. When I was younger and trying to "complete the Pokedex" in my binder, the Poliwrath eluded me for what felt like forever. When I finally found someone who was willing to trade me one, I was on cloud nine. What a time to be alive.

ever since i started collecting pokemon cards and i saw the base set holos i absolutely fell inlove with the designs. it’s something about the sparkles and little dots on them that really make the cards pop. though it isn’t my favorite pokemon overall, something about the ninetails holo design is absolutely stunning to me. not only is the flames blue and contradict the colors of ninetails, the sparkles compliment the card as well. i absolutely love 1st edition holo designs.

Blastoise is my favorite holo by far. Squirtle has been my starter Pokémon since Pokémon Red came out for the GameBoy back in the 90's, and I've always loved him, Wartortle and Blastoise.

Scyther was my favorite holo pull! I remember playing Pokémon snap with my 2 brothers and my big contribution was figuring out how to get Scyther to come out of the deep grass on the Island Beach level by using the pester ball. Great video!!
