Well, this set sure suprised me! After Phantom Nightmare, I had started tryin' to find the 3 old Yubel cards online... This solves my issue! Guess I'll be grabbin' a display set once it releases and hope for the best.
Seeing all these Lightsworn and HERO reprints confirms to me that we’re not gonna get the Quarter Century Chronicle set that the OCG got, but hopefully they’ll still try to get those cards reprinted in the TCG. I hope Charge of the Light Brigade is printed in here too and we just haven’t seen it yet
Played a full Kaiju deck from time to time virtually, it's kinda funny to watch your opponent's endboard key monster just get NOPE'D out of existence. Skill drain plus Remove Brainwashing equals one big field with lots of high level monsters, perfect for XYZ summoning rank 8's or swinging for game.
Love the sets that Konami is sending out these days. Also, congrats to you and Jessica Robinson for making it to the master duel second anniversary invitational!!
Some of these reprints are straight gas! Some I’m not as hyped for but they make sense for that set, and then some I find odd. Overall, not a bad set. Not sure how I want to feel about it.
Was livid to see that the yubel cards weren't reprinted in Phantom Nightmare cuz now the prices are jacked way up. Hopefully this will bring them back down a good bit even though they are all foil rarities...
Battles of legend series are great reprint sets. This one is old in terms of the meta, but I have trades from when these cards first got rereleased that have value today
I like what konami is doing here, they are reprinting cards as common to be more budget friendly to new players and budget players, i myself am a budget player so im glad about this set
@BalosWarlock I didn't mention this set at all, it's not the best, got some Yubel reprints which makes me happy enough, some good cards but as a whole nothing too crazy, but at no point did I comment on this exact set being good, I just said recent sets have been very good, credit where credit is due to konami
Finally, some sealed product I actually wanna get! Need that Photon Lord for my Galaxy-Eyes deck, it's no longer $70. Also been needing that Dark Armed Dragon XYZ, hopefully I get good promo luck!
I’m realizing this set is practically just battles of legends lights revenge which I opened up an insane amount as an 11 year old so I literally have all the cards in this set😭
Just started but the Minerva and Yubel-Terror Incarnate reprints are huge tbh. Cards were creeping up there. Plus the Number 90 (haven't seen the rarity at the time of commenting) and other Lightsworns are nice. Hopefully Punishment Dragon snuck in as well.
pulls are cool but how much is Konami going to charge for essentially two packs and a promo. I get the sense that this will be another one of those where you either A. buy one box and be happy, or go for singles
The astra utopia is an ultra rare it was pulled on cyberknights stream as well as the secret dice a white/clear glitter dice with judgement dragon on it
judgment the dragon of heaven, the utopia alt arts and Trishula the dragon of icy imprisonment are nearly impossible to pull in my experience. 30 boxes and still no Trish and only one judgment of heaven and one utopia!
E emergancy call and yubel reprints is nice. Wonder if they put punishment dragon in there considering its only ever had one print and judgment is in there. 🤔 the promos are okay i guess nothing special tho.
Oh man I'm so glad I didn't buy soldier of chaos. Almost bought it in ghost rare but now hopefully the price will go down a bit; its price was artificially inflated by resellers anyways..
Cool reprints but I fail to really see where the value in this set is. Shame tbh. Could've had high rarity options like starlight or collectors rare to at least add some excitement for potentially getting money cards. Good for Edison, but it isn't completely an Edison set which I think would've been way cooler.
@@liloldman5998 you are right,these vision cards are the bones of a tier -1 strategy that costed billions before and now are affordable for everyone thank goodness for their reprints
I just don’t understand the theming of the set. Is it just random archetypes from the show? Give us something we want like a common print snake eyes sinful spoils engine
