There's a song called "Boom Boom" by John Lee Hooker that has that exact same riff in the beggining of it. Crazy how just playing the notes at times can make the riff change genre completely.
Yeah well... it's played a bit differently in John Lee Hooker's playing!!! The man could move an entire crowd with two notes played repetitively , the right way!
I never actually own myself a guitar, I’m already planning saving up to get one myself. This one looks pretty fun to learn. And I sure do enjoy listing country music.
Here is the full version, I play the lick through at the end. How to Play Opening Country Lick on Guitar in the Key of G - Quick Country Licks - Guitar Lesson ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pL47XGuKa70.html
If someone gets this down you will be able to learn “ wish you were here “ by Pink Floyd pretty easy . At least the intro ! It’s so close already to what hes playing I can’t not hear it good stuff
Believe in Jesus Christ and the blood He shed for you and be saved from hell before it’s eternally too late if you haven’t already. Great picking. May God bless
I'm a beginner and I already got the notes but the speed is going to take awhile especially with these sausage fingers any suggestions on guitars that could help me with that
Just learn to play it really slow until you have it down and gradually pick up the speed. Always focus on playing clean first, speed will come as you progress.
@@brettadkins4968 yeah I did and it's helping to now I can't stop that sound in my head and that's all I can play not that I'm complaining also I just got this electric guitar and it sounds more awesome
Thanks! Yes it is standard tuning. Each song is played in a certain key. This lick is for a song played in the key of G. It could be any song, some songs it wouldn’t work for because of the tempo. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks so much for watching.
@@FretmoreGuitarLessons no problem. im a beginer. so, to me, a lick, is something quick i could show off to a friend, say in a guitar shop. so, could i pick up a guitar in a shop - do what you did - and sound ok? (no idea about key)
Here’s the longer version it might be slower. How to Play Opening Country Lick on Guitar in the Key of G - Quick Country Licks - Guitar Lesson ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pL47XGuKa70.html
