Those first two common locks are no surprise, considering using rifle rounds rather than 9mm seen in fictional media. But that Master Lock packed a punch in durability since it IS steel, like a classic car bumper, so yes, 50 BMG has to come. Didn't expected Scott to be forced to use a sledgehammer. Lol And, yes, cicadas are loud. Also loved how he threw the BMG rounds like a badass.

All you need is a wave rake, a tension wrench, or a long thin spike. Guaranteed to open all Masterlocks, no exceptions.

When it comes to Master lock, you should divide their "security" rating by 100 to get the accurate representation of their actual security level.

Those security ratings are just bullshit, every manufacturer can write on the packaging whatever he wants and typically if they have a scale from let’s say 1 to 10 their worst padlock will be something like a 3. Ratings which really mean something would be CEN grade ratings, but you don’t find those on cheap padlocks.

I'm surprised about the quality of that last Master lock, pretty solid, except against the 50 cal lol. There is a lock that can stop 50 cal bullets pretty well, it's really big, should get one of those haha Awesome vid as always Scott!

When I was 15 (1971), I tried opening a lock like #3, but was made by a company called Forte. It was protecting something in an underground burm. A 30.06 round didn't dent it straight perpendicular. I did get a fragment in the leg for my trouble which I dug out with a razor blade and fingernail clipper. A .357 only polished the lock and stuck like putty.

PSA: Do not ever use master lock for anything you care about! They might be extremely rugged but the lock is one of the easiest to pick and in the lock sport community constantly laughed at. It’s remarkable how masters loto locks have a somewhat advanced core design while a lock like the one Scott just decimated is pickable by an unskilled attack.
