God its the same with the lion one man it always brings me back to my child hood when I used to listen to that crappy dubstep like a 13 yr old edge lord God help me
When you turned Butterfree around I legitimately said, “Oh…no” out loud. I do think all the little guys are great, though. I would just keep them in a bowl on the table like grandma’s demented candy.
I love how he isn't afraid to speak his mind when there is something negative about the toys, but he is also positive when he can me. The down-to-earthness of Max is so nice
the nostalgia i get from watching this.. just remembering going to la pulga as a kid and buying these and the bootleg cards and thinking i was pulling the rarest cards haha
Dude that's where that one kid with the 9999hp pokemon got his cards from lol. I was like wtf when I was like 9 or 10 and still collecting then I went to my local remate and got a few for like $5 and pulled these. On the flip side of this, those pokemon mystery packs that you could get at like Big 5 used to have Japanese cards in them, so I always made nice trades when I pulled a few of those.
idk i thought the quagsire was pretty spot on. they didn't mess up its cute face, although quagsire literally has one of the easiest faces to draw/paint so I cant really give too much credit
@@erfaniom9576 I Googled it to be sure. Conditioning is when training elicits a specific response in an animal or person. It has nothing to do with a belief system, it's just an automatic, unconscious association.
the first maxmoefoe I watched was a bootleg one, so I'm glad that he keeps doing them. I collect alot of the smaller booteg pokemon. my favorites are the ones that aren't pokemon. I personally love the squirtle that looks like the high turtle from nemo.
The oil on the toys could be from the pvc they're made from. Over time, when exposed to fluctuating heat and cold, pvc starts to degrade and "ooze" that oily substaance. Old Barbie dolls from the 50's to the 80's have this issue. Hence why collectors keep them in their boxes.
I feel like the exceptionally dumb-look products are the most valuable and great creations. Solid objects that can spark laughter are holy gemstones. (despite the unholiness some of them may exhibit physically lol)
This gives me great memories. Like when my mom when to the very center of town while there was a thunderstorm to buy me a bootleg hulk toy. I loved that toy. To bad I lost it
Mexico: Hey can I copy your homework? Japan: Sure, just make it different so the fans don't notice. Mexico: **Adds lights in all the bootleg pokemon toys**
Damn, we used to always have a dude selling those tiny ones at a flea market, I got TONS of those as a kid. Thanks for making me nostalgic for what's probably toxic waste you massive legend!
Some of the sculpts look really nice. Like I wonder if you gave them an acetone bath and sprayed them with primer, then repainted them if they'd be safer to display.
I really liked the quagsire, there was almost nothing wrong except possibly the ridge on its back? couldn't see its back clearly but it looked like it was unpainted. and that poor mincinno would have been fine if not for all that extra plastic that wasn't properly trimmed
@@charityquill4965 Same. I also liked that whole pack of 5 he opened. I thought the molds were really nice, just needed some good repainting. And with a bit of patience with some trimming that mincinno would look really nice.
Yooooo I actually collect the tiny figures at 14:00 I call them The Bois™️. Usually get them from card shops for free. Something about how stupid they look brings me joy
Max you're looking healthy as hell for whatever it's worth proud of you for taking care of yourself. Ain't easy with a job like yours so kudos. Never change you legend.
Seeing this makes me feel at home, there even are some of FNAF and some of them had good ideas like getting rid of the animatronics faces to let the endo skeleton face
The weird Mewtwo hand reminds me of that episode when Mewtwo had like a Rayquaza coming out of its hand. Also, the oilyness is from the cheap mold release agent they used and didn't clean off.
I've been laughing from start to finish. There is not a single thing on Earth better than this massive legend opening bootleg pokemon products (except for the cards of course)
I remember my parents got me some of those ziplock abominations quite some many years ago for Christmas and I was very content with them at the time, now when I come across them every couple of months they give me nightmares
