Those are the type of people that will expect grace and mercy when their life expectancy is coming to an end, and they will be no where to be found, because they have not sowned that which they require. Aretha has been performing since the 60's and was dying from advanced Pancreatic Cancer. She did not die in disgrace and her funeral was award winning. Thank God she graced this world with her talent, love and contributions. R.I.P Queen

Damn! Damn! Damn! It's so ironic that Aretha is in the best voice that she's been in in years, but looks so unwell, even compared with a hear ago. My guess is the drastic weight loss has freed up her voice, so that it soars again, but weakened her body at the same time.
She doesn't look well. Still hasn't replaced that tooth and appears to have lost a substantial amount of weight in the last few months. I know she had to cancel concerts last year due to illness. Not sure what's going on with her, but I'm concerned, and of course, she gives no explanation for anything.
She don’t have to explain her personal life and she didn’t have a gastric bypass when u get cancer u go through chemo and radiation and it makes u loose ur appetite and u get real skinny and that’s what happen to her

Deron Reed, Yes she is retiring because she is too ill to continue performing .. as far as the tooth, well that is more than likely a medical reason why it has not been fixed. She has diabetes and other serious health problems that requires ongoing medical attention.

Diana Ross and Gladys Knight still sounds good even Barbra and Patti still sound good but ARetha and Dionne need to go get a room at Shady Pines with their Grammy's and admire them and they can both hate on Diana and Gladys from their rooms.
