The newsboys have gone from selling "papes" to making headlines and they celebrated in a big way at the March 29 Broadway opening of Disney's "Newsies." The electrifying opening night kicked off at at the Nederlander Theatre, and then continued until the wee hours at Famous Dave's BBQ, where the stars Jeremy Jordan, Kara Lindsay, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and more basked in the opening night glow. Broadway.com was there to chat with the stars and creators about bringing Newsies to the Great White Way.

I can tell that Kara Lindsay was about to pour out happy tears when she said it was a dream come true for her and most half of the cast started their Broadway debut on Newsies. I grew up watching the movie version of Newsies and now seeing the Broadway version of it and I really loved it.

I love how Andrew talks about how crazy it is that there was a standing ovation mid show after seize the day... Closing night there were about 10 different times that that happened. It was crazy and wonderful. It was also really sad though... This will forever be my favorite show of all time.

I love that Max Casella went to see the show - he was so great as Racetrack in the film and I had a massive crush on him for years! It's the voice, can't beat the voice. So need to see this and fingers crossed for the whole cast to stay on until I can save to get there!

ok im 7 months late but in most shows if you have a hat or hair accessory it is usually pinned to your hair or, if you have a wig, pinned or even sometimes sewn to the wig
