If so, it should *NEVER* be turned on where the radiation can reach a human, especially the eyes. That kind of radiation can blind you within seconds and produce horrible burns in minutes or less (depending on distance from the UV source). My understanding is that it would have been used inside a sealed pipe to sterilise the water as it flowed through the pipe.
You definitely do NOT need deutherium for a sterilising lamp, good old mercury is more then up to the task :P This is for spectroscopy. Very expensive if you'd want to buy a new one.
Also, can’t wait to see how your spec and repair attempt turns out! I’ve been contemplating snagging one to repair myself from eBay, but I don’t have a huge need for one *yet*
A deuterium arc lamp (or simply deuterium lamp) is a low-pressure gas-discharge light source often used in spectroscopy when a continuous spectrum in the ultraviolet region is needed.
Hi there love your channel... I wanted a couple of Dual Shaft brushless motors - ODrive site sold out... any ideas where I can source them? I am in UK... anyway best wishes and keep up the fab videos James
I had one of those pill cameras. I fished it out. It's not mixed with poop because you have to clean yourself out so well over a couple of days there is nothing but water when you go to use it. I only wish I had the movie of my innards.
Thanks. i already have one. Can you share to us the squematics that you use for the ecg??* Please. i love the simplified version of an already simple circuit :D
3:03 is a UV lamp! Very similar lamps are inside of the nicer UV/Vis spectrophotometers at my university chemistry lab as the UV source. Interestingly, lower end models (a la the infamous spec20) just use an expensive incandescent lamp and plastic filters...
2:00 I like coaxial connectors, CNC, fiber optic stuff and networking equipment 5:00 I have a few of those, nice ones. There is a fully black version that is a real deal
Hmmm, DHL are efficient in Australia. You NEED to have at least one of EVERY type of coax connector! You will need the only one you don't have at some stage
I've browsed a lot of the Nubicom stuff on eBay, and the prices seem really hit or miss. Is that spectrum analyzer from them, or one of their customers?
Kacper Jacuński I wonder why Germans like clothing with such toxic colors (his socks for example). Usually when I see a German something on him or her must be fluorescent :) And the tracksuits from Lidl are just radioactive :D
www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/advantest-r3273-spectrum-analyzer-stuck-in-loading-screen/ made a lot of progress, but for the next would be a deep dive into the HF guts and I feel underqualified for that :) also I'll need a cal because I replaced the step attenuator
3:06 for real now, i was watching the video until 3:00 then stopped it and quickly looked for something else and when i resumed the video i thought to myself "wait, wasnt he speaking english?" xD
And that spectrum analyser up to 26.5GHz is a fucking beast. I doubt you have any gear to use it with in the higher frequency ranges or even for troubleshooting. However, not at all saying you can't fix it. Sometimes a multimeter is enough.. But if say the YIG is fucked and it goes from 4-8GHz or something like that, measuring it's output will be hard.
Was more thinking like, hes not the first to try it, unfortunately common. Than it is going to be a piece of cake for you! Yes it is amazing how much there is to learn ;)
i was clickbaited expecting you would actually open the box with some high tech stuff like a laser, cnc mill or a robot. Aber der Spachtel war ja eher quite the opposite. anyhow, nice video as always...
Ugh, dragging a broken spectrum analyzer home is a bad idea, more than likely you will be unable to fix it and at the same time your bleeding heart doesn't allow you to throw it away, so you get a space wasting dust gatherer. Perhaps you can pass it on to next naive schmuck who will end up in the same situation.
