It fits a Kindle no problem. I think with the dimensions of an iPad mini you would just barely be able to zip it closed, would lose it's boxy shape and look stretched. Or you could leave it unzipped and tuck it in as just a holder. Overall though, I'm guessing it wouldn't fit it nicely.
