Hi, great video review of a very nice loco, I want a newly tooled Bachmann class 47, Railfreight grey with a red sole bar is a lovely livery, not a fan of weathering to be honest, not having a driver fitted seems to be the norm now, thanks for sharing.
Wow that is expensive, I'm glad I don't need to buy one, I think the class 57007 sound fitted was less than £150 not that long ago, a couple of years maybe,it runs a like a dream.
Prices have gotten a bit out of hand these days so it always pays to look around for a bargain. £150 for a sound fitted 57 is definitely worth every penny.
I actually own two of these newer Bachman class 47s. Yes I think too that the original RRP was far too much for them to be asking for us to pay given what companies like Accurascale have been selling recently for far less... Fortunately I never paid over £200 for both of my DCC ready ones, I got my /7 for around £180 which I think is okay price wise while I managed to get a /0 in BR blue (brand new never used) for an amazing £130! I think I must have been very lucky.
It’s always good to shop around to get the best price these days. It’s been proven many times now that people can’t afford/don’t want to pay the silly prices many manufacturers charge for models with Bachmanns new 37s and 47s being a good example. Shops now sell them heavily discounted as they can’t shift them at a higher price.
great video have to agree prices are just too much i think for the money you should get a driver 🤣🤣 unless there on strike of course cheers for now al 🚂🚂🎄🎄👍👍
