@@dannyzadrazil7315where was Edmund gwenn placed eventually , your film has brought tears to my eyes how wonderfully caring you and the young lady also involved are in this respectful work that you are doing , god bless all involved especially the deceased .
Arthur I found out the reason why Edmund was misplaced. It turns out that there was a no room for the urn to fit in the 1959 shelf so he was placed in the bigger shelf in vault 5 so there you have it Arthur I solved the mystery of the misplaced urn of Edmund Gwenn
Please tell me I wasn't the only person who actually got choked up when they finally found Edmund Gwenn (Santa Claus in "Miracle on 34 Street") at 35:58? Stuff like this is why I subbed to this channel. Not trying to come across as bitter, but this is seriously the type of content that RU-vid should truly focus on instead of Influencers, "Prank Channels", and those awful "RU-vid Shorts" that's been rolled out for almost a year now.
I did. I was crying when I saw the Urn as well as taking Helen's out of the vault. Thank goodness he will soon have a permanent resting place at Hollywood Forever. 😊
Holy cow this video is FASCINATING. This could be a full-length documentary on television. Seriously, this installment of Hollywood Graveyard deserves an Emmy.
The vault segment made me shed some tears. To think anyone would be forgotten breaks my heart. I told my husband I would volunteer to help catalog to give each of these people the respect . Thank you for giving them so much care and respect.
As a professional Santa it hit kind of hard when they thought Edmund Gwenn was lost. I will admit I had tears when they found him. There are many Santa associations that might like to help get him a proper home. 🎅🏻. Bless you for finding him.
Not sure who to contact as a head of the society, but i think a campaign to raise money to have Edmund Gwynn entombed at Hollywood Forever would be an amazing endeavor.
@@SlapMyBass3825 I saw in another comment above that his family will be paying for a final resting place for him, did not say if it was at Hollywood Forever or not though.
Watching Edmund Gwenn, Margaret Dumont, and Helen Chandler brought out of the CotP vaults and given new resting places actually brought tears to this classic film fan's eyes. Well done, Arthur (and all those who helped)!
I can't tell you how delighted I am to see this video, and how I appreciate all your efforts. Here's hoping Edmund Gwynn will soon have a public resting place. His fans (myself included, would be delighted to be able to pay our respects.
Kudos to Arthur & people like Jessica. The legwork of such historians (& that's how I describe them) is much appreciated. I also appreciate other transcribers of culture like the late Huell Howser or Mike of YT's German in Venice. Remembering people's history has made me think more closely about the role of cemeteries, grave sites & burial vs cremation. Arthur's vid reminds me that cremation predates today's era of low carbon & Green Earth ("don't waste land for coffins! Grr"). People who've affected thousands or millions of other people (& who may otherwise want their ashes scattered at sea) have almost a duty to leave behind a permanent resting place. To do what fans of Helen Chandler, Ann Sheridan or Margaret Dumont have done. What fans of Edmund Gwenn want to do---& if by Xmas 2023, perfect timing. As for glass display vaults with mementos, they may not have the centuries-long durability of granite markers in the ground, but they sure are ideal for fans of celebrities. Heck, for anyone. Something like that for Albert Einstein would be off the charts. BTW, cartoonist Gladys Parker has such a modern, current look, I'd swear she was from around today. When I was a kid, I remember watching the work of actor Nigel Bruce (Dr Watson), director Kurt Newmann (The Fly), HB Warner (Mr Gower), Thomas Mitchell (George's Uncle Billy, Scarlett O'Hara's father). The story of William Selig makes me think of how culture via motion pictures was a part of local history going back well before today's era of WGA & SAG out on strike. I've seen on YT the 1940's trailer for Miracle on 34th Street & I can tell the people behind that movie were very talented film makers. No wonder they created a classic. And Edmund Gwenn is one its major symbols. As for the human soul & things like Hollywood history: Marty Martyn (Eg, partial link: hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/10-year-old-boy-says-784090)
@kathyrichardson7857 'Uncle Billy' made a request that he wanted to stay there in the vault😢 Edmund Gwinn's ashes have now been paid for and put in the 'Forever Hollywood's vault
I just want to thank Jessica for representing our local zoo by wearing that shirt. Also thank you for showing extreme respect to everyone interred and uninterred here. Hollywood history needs to be saved.
I’m still weepy from this amazing story!! You have always been so respectful in your presentation. Your stories have inspired me to organize our family to place a long over due grave marker on our grandfather’s grave. He passed in 1942 but because of his actions, the family refused to honor him with a marker. Now 81 years later, we are having that done. Everyone deserves a marked eternal resting place. Thank you!!
Is anybody else wiping tears away. Arthur my friend is truly appreciated. Thank you for all the effort. To you and the entire family associated with your work.
He transported Helen Chandler as I did both my Uncle and Father... I drove them one final time.. Roof down their favourite music playing, I live in wales and the sun actually shone. Just them and me. I miss them both more each day. Rip both, it was the least I could do for the life time of love you gave me.
I cried when Edmund was found and at the end, when he was given the honor of placing Dracula's leading lady in her new home. I love his efforts for giving everyone a right to live again, and not be forgotten. It's thanks to his efforts that the descendants of these people have a chance to visit them and say Hello. Thank you Mr. Dark, I loved you videos, and still continue to see where you will take us next, in the history of Hollywood Graveyards!
As a funeral director, I hate seeing people go unclaimed for whatever reason. This episode is by far the best ever. What you guys did by getting a few of the stars out of the dark and brought into the light, was nothing short of spectacular! I had tears rolling down my cheecks when Edmund was found. It is astonishing to see all of those souls locked away for so long. God bless you Arthur and your team for all you have done.
Edmund Gwenn's bio indicated he had some personal challenges in his life, such as one person, upon his death & associated with him towards the end, contesting his will. That probably made the way his remains were handled in 1959 a bit of a social-political quagmire. Regardless, an Oscar winner for his iconic role as Santa in a classic movie has long needed formal honor & tangible remembrance. Over 60 yrs is way too long.a delay
I agree. I have been linking family on FindAGrave. I look at the list of names provided by Arthur and think "how sad" that no one has come forward to claim them. Even if they can't afford a niche then scatter their ashes to nature or the sea. i found a wife on this list whose husband is supposed to be inurned there but his name is not on the list so I contacted the Chapel to see if he is in a niche. I hope so. They need to be back together.
I think this is one of my favorite episodes of Hollywood Graveyard. Thank you Arthur, Jessica and Chapel of the Pines for all you are doing to to bring those lost stars of Hollywood, who rest in the vaults, "out of the darkness and into the light". ❤
I’ve always felt sad that Helen was in the vault and I actually felt really emotional when she was placed in her new home. (And also when y’all found Edmund.)
So happy to hear Edmund Gwenn's urn was found thru your tireless efforts with Jessica Wahl. It was so disheartening when Mr. Gwenn's urn couldn't be located at first, then ended in sharing the sheer joy of Ms. Jessica when she actually found his urn in the very last vault. Looking forward to seeing updated videos of Edmund Gwenn's new resting place on Hollywood Graveyard and hopefully photos on his FindaGrave memorial page. Thank you so much for the many informative & entertaining videos, always done with respect for those who are no longer with us.
Amazing job finding William Selig, and having a name plate made for him - the care you show for honouring Hollywood's past is remarkable. And, of course, your devotion to commemorating Edmund Gwenn and Helen Chandler is inspiring. This is perhaps your finest video to date, Mr Dark!
Mr. Dark, your special access here shows how much the memorial parks appreciate the dignity you (and your followers) show to the residents of the parks -- as well as the parks themselves. Kudos to you!💖
Two things….. 1, my heart sank when The Rose Room was opened and talked about. 2, you can clearly hear the shocking surprise when the Miss Jessica found Edmund Gwenn’s remains
March 5, 2023 - has anyone noticed that on this day, the country music world remembered the 60th anniversary of Patsy Cline's death? May everybody RIP in the Chapel.
So happy people still step up to donate and give the dead a resting place and so happy Margaret Dumont has a new one I love the marx brothers and thank you for spending time cataloging the boxes of those remembered and forgotten ♥️
So glad William Selig has a name plate again ❤ great way to keep old Hollywood alive ❤❤❤ but to finally find Edmund Gween...i cried a little bit...so heartwarming to see such an amazing man will finally get the proper niche he deserves. Helen chandlers niche turned out absolutely beautiful. Thank you again for all you do for these beautiful stars
One of your best Arthur. How wonderful to speak these names, and honour them as you have done. Brought a tear to my eye when you found Edmund Gwynn. There really is a Santa Claus, and in this instance, He is you. Well done! ❤
Thank you so very much, Arthur and Jessica! For all of the hard work in cataloging, but especially for what you did for Edmund and Helen. They are very close to my heart.
You sir, are a rare treasure! The way you truly love, care and respect these stars is astounding and touching🥰Thank you so much for all you do! This is one of my favorite channels and will always get my “likes”👍🏻💙
I was sad to think Edmund Gwenn was missing and thrilled to know Jessica found him. Beautiful urn and niche for Helen Chandler. No one should be forgotten. Thank you and Jessica for your time donations.
This episode was so very different but totally riveting..the ending showing the rescue of Helen Chandler was really moving. It felt almost as if you were giving back their lost dignity to all whose cremated remains lay there. An amazing video.
I’m so happy to see you Arthur and another Hollywood Graveyard x. That was such a kind gesture you did upon retrieving the ashes of Helen Chandler. I’m sure her family and her family appreciate what you did ❤❤❤.
Arthur: I'm a genealogy lover - so research and problem-solving is regular. That said, I admire how you identified the error with William Selig's niche name plate and how you helped COTP confirm your suspicion and correct the information. Well done - we need more people like you out there. I'm sure Selig bestowed good vibes on you for that favor.
Hands down, one of your best videos yet!! What a wonderful service you and Jessica provided to Chapel of the Pines. And to the stars of yesteryear by making sure they are not forgotten. Love your channel!!
Not me getting all teary eyed at the beautiful ceremony that Hollywood Forever did for Miss Helen with their vintage hearse. Arthur. You've done some incredible episodes however watching you walk through the vaults and all of those boxes of cremains was incredibly breathtaking for me. The stories that are behind each of those boxes both wondrous and heartbreaking, I'm sure. My cataloging self is super jealous that you and Jessica have taken on the daunting task of doing that! Thank you for this incredibly moving episode.
What a unique gem this episode is. For 'golden age' film fans; it has a ghoulish charm, yet absolutely fascinating. Consistently excellent production quality too, it makes this one very special and rewarding.
Out of all of your vids, this one was the most beautiful and moving. I'm so happy to hear that Edmund will have home at HF ! But it was Helen's story that was so touching and her new urn and place at HF, are beautiful. Thank you and Jessica for remembering and honoring these important stars
I had tears in my eyes too! Dear Arthur, you not only teach and entertain us. You bring to us the humanity of those who have passed on from us and help us to remember them as part of the human family. Thank you.
I’ve been a fan of Hollywood Graveyard for years. Along with so many others who have commented, when you found Edmund Gwenn, I began to choke up. I hope he finds his final resting place at Hollywood Forever. It truly is a miracle. Thank you Arthur and Jessica for everything you did in the vaults so that families may find their relatives. I wish Thomas Mitchell’s family had given him a public niche. Such a great actor.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Arthur, for posting this! And thank you for your compassion, empathy and hard work with helping out the Chapel of the Pines and with getting Ms. Chandler her forever home.
By far the most moving episode . You and Jessica are "Angels on Earth" to catalog all the lost souls and finding them again, bringing their "Stars" to shine again for us to visit and give homage. The respect and honor you give on your videos to many bring tears to my eyes. I hope Edmund Gwenn gets his place of honor soon. God Bless you Arthur. And Thank you.
Magnificent…heartbreaking….bouyant…triumphant. It hit me like a ton of bricks! Oscars to Arthur and the wonderful young lady who worked so tirelessly in the vaults. Incredible!
Your professionalism and dedication in your videos truly are top-notch work, Arthur! I'm sure the staff at Chapel of the Pines, and the descendants of William Selig, appreciate all your help.
I found this an incredibly emotional and moving episode; I was really touched when you mentioned that you intentionally said the person's name out loud. Very very moving and finding Ed Gwenn was the icing on the cake. My wife, who lovingly teases me about how much I enjoy this channel, found it deeply emotional as well and was touched that an effort was made to catalogue not just the stars, but the everyday person as well. Thank you.
You made tears come to my eyes. The respect you give to the dearly departed is admirable and comforting. You sir really deserve a star on Hollywood Boulevard as you have in our hearts!!!
Holy moly, what an incredible episode! I couldn't even respond right away, because I was crying too hard. THANK you and Jessica for finding and paying so much respect to everyone, including Ed Gwenn and Helen Chandler, so amazing! RIP "Santa" and "Mina!" Hollywood Graveyard continues to be one of my favorite RU-vid channels, keep up the great work Arthur! *I'm not crying, you're crying*
Heart-warming and uplifting - especially when the missing stars were found. I hope more will be retrieved from the vault and that Jean Hagen gets added to the Rose Garden memorial wall. Thank you Arthur and Jessica for your dedication and humanity. An amazing video!
This might just be one of my favorite videos of yours. Ever since the original video i wondered what these private rooms looked like. The fact that you actually found Santa Clause (Edmund Gwenn) through your hard work actually made me a little emotional. Its truly a great thing you're doing, allowing many of these great figures to come out of the basement and get proper internment, I'm sure their descendants are ecstatic. Fun fact, I was at Hollywood Forever cemetery the Sunday before you came with Helen Chandler. Keep up the great work and may more souls be freed from the basement of the chapel.
Having lost my father last month at 83, this episode really hit home for me. Fortunately, I already have a place in NY where I plan to bury my mom’a and his ashes later this year…with an appropriate marker. There is enough room in the plot to also have my ashes placed there as well (hopefully not for quite a few years 😂). Just when I thought I had my favorite episode (I was a contributor for a famous Florida grave), this one blew me out of the water. Y’all made me cry happy tears when you found Edmund Gwynn. Thank you both for all the cataloging and research!! ❤
My condolences. My family have a designated mausoleum in a small cemetery in another city, so by far my grandpa and father are in that mausoleum and I'll be there when times comes. And this became in a fav chapter too!
What an astounding feeling it must be, holding or directly looking at the remains of so many stars of some of the most beloved movies in cinema history. Thank you both for doing what you guys are doing, with the respect and care these, and all - well-known or not - people deserve. Their names being spoken once more means so much. We all, in the end, matter.
What a lovely and uplifting video. I was almost in tears when Edmund Gwynn's remains were found. Such warm memories of the movies and the time spent enjoying their many performances. We were touched that Margaret Dumont found a new memorial and chuckled that she did indeed "get all of the jokes"!
I can't say in words how much Arthur Dark should be respected and admired...this is HUMANITY at it's finest!! He cares as much for the dead as we did while they were alive💜💜💜 THANK YOU.... THANK YOU so much for doing this GOOD WORK 🙏🙏🙏
Hollywood Graveyard has long been my favorite RU-vid channel and for very good reason. The quality of your work and dedication is like no other. This is quite possibly your best episode yet. The identification and cataloging of all those remains was a daunting task but so worth it because every person, whether famous or not, deserves to be remembered. As mentioned by so many others, the discovery of Edmund Gwenn's remains was a pleasant surprise. For me, finding Margaret Dumont's remains was rather emotional. She's been a favorite of mine for many years and I always considered her to be an underrated actor. Many thanks to you and everyone involved in this huge discovery. You really did find Hollywood gold!
One of your best episodes yet! Your respect for the deceased (both stars and otherwise) is something to be admired. Thank you for your work to recognize the stars of yesterday and your continued efforts to see that they are given proper resting places and identification.
Arthur, being a historian on Hollywood for many, many years, I have no words as to how amazing your videos are! This was especially touching to see you discovering stars that have been lost for all these years. Thank you for the quality of your work. 🤩
arthur must get a special award for finding some of the lost souls of hollywood....who were lost for too darn long ! i know i don't want to be in a box on a shelve for decades! must plan my funeral. get it done just in case! no close family to even consider to do my funeral.......if i was in hollywood i would have done what arthur has been doing to save history............
Arthur, I cant tell you how amazing this was. My daughter and myself ( she's my grave partner when we visit LA ) were so moved . her to tears. So many stories hidden away in these vaults. We really were overwhelmed by it all. This has been your most profound work. The care you took in creating this showed every minute. The Edmund Gwen discovery was really a special moment beautifully captured. Overall it made us sad to imagine all the people who lived lives and just seemed for various reasons to be forgotten in these vaults . Thomas Mitchell such a great actor and why wouldn't he be in a public place. The Helen Chandler unveiling was just so heartwarming. As you see I could go on and on. Thank you so much for this .
So proud to have had a tiny part in getting Miss Helen's new niche, and it is gorgeous! Your videos are always wildly entertaining, but this one was above and beyond. Your care and reverence show through, and really it's just awesome to be able to see those vaults. Such a great job you do, Mr. Dark. We love you!
Not only so fascinating to see the vaults, but the obvious care in making sure everyone, famous or not, has an opportunity to be found. I loved this episode so much.
After years of watching this channel...this has to be my favorite episode to date. Hopefully the family members of those in the vault will also retrieve their loved ones. And give them a proper resting place.
Very sad. So glad there is a digital catalog. Thomas Mitchell deserves a niche. As a genealogist, this is a wonderful thing that you and your associate did!! So many who work on their genealogy always wonder why they can't find someone and now you have made that possible.
Arthur, absolutely stunning work! You finally broke me. I take my hat off to you, and all that helped making this video. This is, by far, my favorite video from Hollywood Graves. It's so wonderful that you reached out to family members and got permission to place Miss Helen, where she belongs. I apologize for giving you such a hard time over the last year. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, sir. STANDING OVATION!!!!
I have watched every one of your videos multiple times and I have to say this has been the most emotional. I shed several tears for these people. It just seemed more sad than normal. I’m so glad for the people you rescued. You are doing a great service! I can’t wait to see what happens with Edmond!
The only things I don't like about Hollywood Graveyard are hearing Mr. Dark's closing line & the length of time between new videos. I've watched & rewatched all of his videos. I'm a little surprised that a network hasn't given him his own series.
The containers damaged at the bottom, if opened they might have a coin in them with a number stamped on to it. You would have to check a ledger to match the number in the record book to find out who the decedent was. When I worked in a 1928 crematorium, every cremation got that coin with a number stamped on it.
It's so sad to see those who were supposed to be picked up by a family member but totally forgotten. It makes me wonder if they were equally forgotten in life as well. The child/infant room was heartbreaking to say the least. Last year I emailed someone from the Chapel to ask about perhaps starting a fund to have Edmund Gwenn removed and buried. They didn't respond. I still hope someone can rescue him.
Many comments here have said that his family is going to do so, and Arthur said he hopes it will be done before Christmas. Thanks to Jessica and Arthur, he was rescued. 😊🎅
Now you have me in tears, you made Helen Chandler's family so happy, and I am sure very grateful. You and Jessica are special people. You both went above and beyond to help Helen get her where she belongs, not on a shelf in a vault but someplace her family and fans can visit. I am sure she is smiling now.
This was such a special episode. I couldn’t help but to shed some tears when they brought Helen Chandler to her new home with such grace. Keep up the amazing work ! 💜💜💜
This was brilliant!! I truly got emotional when Ed Gwynne was found! Nice to see fans coming together to bring back the stars and give others a chance to pay their respects!
Congrats Arthur on this and your many efforts to set things right. I'm referring to the Selig name plate here specifically but also the unselfish help which you don't take credit for in others. If you didn't take the time to do it,. how many would never be recognized. Here's to you!
Wow! That was special. We have watched your videos for years, but that one was 'next-level'. Very emotional. What an incredible adventure you had. Well done. Your passion is contagious.
I wish I could have worked on that project with you! As a Geneaologist and a former crematory technician this would have been right up my alley! The children's vault was tough....I have done lots of infants and children so that always hurt, but you have to shut your emotions off to get the job done. Let us know if there is a fund raiser for Edmund Gwynn, I missed the last one. What a great job you did on this show!
It is unbelievable the amount of souls under this roof. Many you mentioned are favorites of mine: Thomas Mitchell, Edmund Gwenn, and HB Warner! I’d love to see HB interred somewhere public. Thank you so much for taking on this project, in all it’s incarnations of discovery, research and cataloging, as well as contacting the deceased’s families. I’m still emotional from watching this. We all want to feel a happy ending is possible, and knowing there is a place to visit and honor loved ones, be they our relatives or simply those who had a profound effect on our lives, is extremely touching and balm for my grieving soul.
I imagine some incredible party up in heaven where all of these stars of yesteryear have gathered. Their names aren’t mentioned often, if ever. And as Arthur and Jessica say their names out loud, they “come back to life” at this party. Laughter, tears, memories, stories, hugs, old friendships…and every grateful soul lift their glasses to Arthur and Jessica, the extraordinary living souls who’ve brought everyone back, if perhaps only for one celebratory night…
This has been the most moving of all the shows you have produced. Having been missing, lost, and exiled for decades, it is miraculous to be found in the way they were found. Thanks, Mr. Dark, for bringing light.
Seriously cried this whole episode. I’ve been a huge fan of your channel since the beginning. Thank You Arthur for bringing these stars to light. They lived incredible lives 🥹🫶🏼
This could be one of the best videos you've done yet. What a wonderful effort you're making to preserve the memories so many people have left legacies behind that we all are benefiting from.
This episode of HGY was amazing and it gave me chills! The respect and honor that was shown to these stars was outstanding. Much respect for authur who not only has good content with these videos, but has a genuine love and respect for these stars...Amazing! Keep up the good work!
What a miracle!! I’m so glad Edmund was found and he will have a new home!! I am glad I got to be apart of Helen’s new home as well!! Thank you Arthur and Jessica for your dedication to a very big project ❤
The Chapel of the Pines is to be sincerely thanked for allowing Hollywood Graveyard to get a glimpse of the vaults and for allowing family members who may have relatives there to retrieve them.
What a great service you and Jessica provided logging all of the remains. And, the way you congratulated Jessica on her find of Edmund Gwenn was very selfless of you and sweet.
There was one name that Arthur missed, and it was right next to Bess Flowers' misspelled name - James Finlayson. The Scottish-born actor, nicknamed 'Fin', was a regular in 'Laurel and Hardy' comedies for many years, serving as the duo's comedic foil. He died of a heart attack in 1953 at age 66. Here's an interesting fact - when you hear Homer Simpson say, "D'oh!" in 'The Simpsons', well, you can thank James Finlayson for inspiring Dan Castellaneta to use it in the show.
In the 1928 Mausoleum I worked in, I remember finding a small box in our unclaimed storage room, the label red "Cremated Limb". I enjoyed reading the burial permits and when I see how some of the boxes are wrapped with paper, we did the exact same thing. I recall one of the burial permits listing for the cause of death "crashed and burned" and the intersection where the fatality occurred. Another one read "died on train while en route to California".
How in THE world did you figure all this out? It's INCREDIBLE. You've even gone through log books to find names of people who may not have markings? And then to get the access here and also have someone available to make changes and fixes to things? Insane. You're a treasure and I hope people let you know how great you are for putting in all this work. WOW!
With work and just regular life, I’ve just now had an opportunity to fully watch this episode, and I must say, even after all these years this had to be number 1 for me. Absolutely amazing and the work you do, and the care you’ve taken to recognize the souls gone before us is amazing, and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Arthur and Jessica for all your hard work. Lots of love from Detroit 🥰🥰
Hey Arthur it's great to see you with your sunglasses off! It's also great to see the work you are doing to present the stars in what they deserve as their final resting place. Keep up the good work!
This is the most heartfelt videos you ever produced on RU-vid. I am sure those who has passed appreciate the handwork you guys put in to have their stories told.
This is one of your most Fascinating Tours to date! Never seen anything like it! The Chapel of the Pines Columbarium. Astonishing the Venture of finding ones thought lost like Edmund Gwenn now to be talked of and seen again! Gratifying that some are being brought into the light like Helen. Thanks so much for such a Memorable and Touching Tour Arthur. 🥀🖤🥀
Have to say this is my all time favorite episode, when I watched the episode it gave me a sad feeling to know that these former souls are in some weird way a time capsule but they will never truly rest in peace. Thank you Arthur and Jessica 🫡
Well, you have finally done it. You've managed to make me cry. How pleased Helen Chandler must be, and how thrilled her family must be. As an amateur genealogist for my own family the digitization of the vault records is very likely a dream come true to many. What a remarkable person you are! Thank you!
I just have to say, i love watching your channel, but it was a huge happy surprise, when you were showing Jessica finding Edmund Gwenn, and she is wearing a Toledo Zoo sweatshirt. I love when i see my hometown zoo represented across the US. You guys are wonderful.
What an amazing video Arthur! I think it's wonderful that you helped catalogue the vault. Seeing Edmund Gwenn's urn was very emotional for me. He was so amazing as Santa Claus. I also enjoy his performance in "Them!" And it was very gratifying to see Helen Chandler's new resting place, knowing that we, Helen's fans made it happen. Please let us know if you need our help in the future. So proud of You and Our Community. Thank you as always for keeping the memories of these incredible people alive. Take care and hugs to everyone! 😊
I saw online that Dorothy Jordan is at this location but it didn't say if she was in the vault or in a niche. She's from where I live in Clarksville TN and very beloved here. Have you happened upon her?
I have been watching ur vids for most of this year 2023 after finding them on RU-vid. It's nice to put a face to the voice on 10/19/ 2023. I so remember watching 1958's The Fly & It's A Wonderful Life with Uncle Billy & Mr. Gower & also Gone W/ The Wind & The older B&W older horror films such as Dacula & Sherlock Holmes films. My fav of course is Miracle On 34th Street w/ Ed Gwen as Santa himself. I cried upon learning of him missing & then being found. I heart aches 💔 from the souls bring held in storage. Kept in darkness.🎉😢✨️😞🌟🌈🫶❤️🔥😔🕊. So sad. Much thanks to Jessica & urself for cataloging in the vaults. And helping to find new homes for Helen & others. For correcting dates & names & other errors. These long lost ashes of forgotten actors whom contributed to Hollywood's established history deserve recognition for the roles they played. You r hiving them that on ur vids!!!! Ty. As a child i watched films like Laurel & Hardy & The Marx Brothers & The Dead End Kids & Abbott & Costello & old B&W Charlie Chan & Sherlock Holmes & monster films & some westerns too! Thank you for helping to remember these too ❤️!! Please keep up the good work.🎉❤😊
