There was a fan at one of the get-together conventions of gargoyles that called him out on that and he knew that he said the wrong date like 3 seconds after saying that and he's like oh crap I said 21st century didn't I lol and he said so yes he knew that he did after reset it but he couldn't really take it back cuz it was already there
