Was exactly the same on Meadow last weekend, massive fly hatch going on not a carp to be had. Leg of Lamb & Strongbow ? Now we’re talking Laney, top bombing !
I was on Orchid in the days leading up to those mental winds, all the fish turned up in my West facing corner the night before the winds properly got up, and I had 3 fish. Stayed for an extra night snd the fish pushed off the end of the wind and my brolly blew away, every pole snapped😂 had to drape it over my kit facing away from the winds like a piece of tarpaulin praying I didnt get drenched and blown away
Do they, there must have been a lot of dragon flies then. Do you think they would turn down a thousand mayflies if they were on offer? There were a lot of those about at the time.
Great to see you back on again, sometimes easier coming out further down the list when draws are being done , too many choices that can cause snap decisions. Do you still use much of the TFG items ? Had their boots , hoodie and carryall for years
@@davelane1996 just a quick question as you’re from up Norfolk way , I fished a few years ago ( 12 plus ) at catch 22 on several occasions and had a few of red letter sessions, I returned about 4 years ago and it was a really different venue as in I blanked , see very little and went home early but was told by guys fishing there through floods the fish levels was as low a 200 from ( still a reasonable amount but nothing like the levels in the past ) and had become very Peggy year round. I’m looking at going for my four night social with an old work m8 and wanted to go back there . I would obviously be watching FB etc nearer the time but even though i will ask at the shop before we go the locals said not to trust the guys that work there . I’m not wanting to disrespect the guys in the shop as they seemed ok . Do you have any information about the place and how it’s been over the past year or so ? Sorry to ask but unsure who else to ask

Well that's my evenings viewing sorted, got soaked to the absolute baws today throwing feeders for Bream on the Erne, no surprise no Bream turned up I got cormoranted once they rocked up into the swim the fish done one. And I'm the bad guy for wanting to shoot the fucking things.
