Revelation is what got me into the game last year. Honestly, I owe it to this track; I wouldn't have given the game a chance without it. Never regretted it because PGR is my all-time favorite game now! 1:47 NO WAY DID MARCO USE A CLIP FROM MY VIDEO?!!? WHAT!??!? That caught me so off-guard. It almost made me spit out my food!

Revelation is one of those Vanguard Sound Studio song that Just doesn't want to drop until it's the last minute and Hits you with Lyrics

Your mention of the slow build up and the internal conflict of the character made me realize - everything makes sense to the plot now! I won't spoil the story for The Ark Beyond, but it's definitely one of my favorite chapters in PGR (I feel like it's kinda underrated) and with Haicma being my favorite character. It goes deep into the character's long internal journey, in search of purpose, understanding, and a final revelation (I hope this doesn't count as a spoil, if it does I'm sorry :o).

I love how PGR songs feels so nostalgic to me because it kinda brings back the 2000s trance style. Revelation in particular, with the vocals, sounds SO MUCH like something I would have discovered in some obscure forum where I downloaded simfiles to play in Stepmania in 2006 lol, those were the days. In case you aren't familiar, StepMania was this Dance Dance Revolution emulator for PC, you could play regular DDR using a dancepad or play custom made songs using a keyboard, not so different from the many rhythm phone games we have nowadays. I've discovered A LOT of awesome music, trance/dance and many other genres, through Stepmania, and I love how PGR OST kind of brings me back to that specific time in my life, so many years before the game was even released!

I have been waiting for this patch and now that its around the corner I'm so excited. I don't care much for Hacima but as someone on the outside I've desperately been wanting to fight RM. This track, the fight, and mechanami's exclusive fight animation during it are just absolute peak.

yeah, Revelation is full of up's and down's you don't know when is going to drop but when it does UFFF is a BOP.

With the acceleration of the drops, you can see countless AIs are awakening gradually

It's also a completely different experience when it plays during its respective fight, enjoy the ride when you get there.

Some times i listen to music before you and think the song is awesome or think nothing of it but when i listen to it again after watching your reaction i think "WOW this song is AMAZING i gotta download this now".

Funny enough this was the song I wanted him to hear the most cause this boss Fight was SOOO much fun and the music just goes this hard on it. cant wait for him to listen to the future ost of the patches cause I have been enjoying them and the boss fights are so much better now.

finally REVELATION!!!, in sync with the upcoming update to the game

I've only realized it until now but the small notes in the beginning remind me of small ice crystals which is fitting bc Haicma's element is ice! Spoilers for HER LAST BOW chapter If anyone here hasn't read it and wants to experience it for themselves! To my understanding that moment of silent might be the character, Haicma, realizing what another character named Nanami has been fighting for all this time! In the "Her Last Bow" chapter, Haicma plays a semi passive role where her one goal is to find Nanami, the sagemachina. (basically someone who will save both humanity and the machines who were effected by the punishing virus) I haven't read the next chapter, which will be released with Haicma, and based on the trailer I think it's Haicma realizing her OWN path after she's found Nanami and fully understanding Nanami's mission as the sagemachina. That's why this track feels so powerful yet contemplative

I love how although pgr has some oongaboonga beats, the songs always tell a story and contribute to the atmosphere in the game. Shows that electronic music can be very well thought out and compex.
