The problem isn't that it lack directions or that it shifts tempos, it's that it's constantly building up. When you finally think there's going to be some kind of climax... it shifts tempos and starts building up again. And yes, trance is supposed to build up for about 3 whole minutes, but then it's supposed to explode! And yes, this song does it... about 7 minutes in.
MissDjDolce me facina lo que hiciste con esta excelsa cancion, tu no escuches los malos cometarios y sigue asi, este tipo de mezclas es justo lo que buscaba para poder deleitar mis oidos.
Remember that everything starts imperfectly. We all didn't walk perfectly, we fall hundreds of times before we learn to walk and have balance.. We are all not born on this earth knowing everything. Everything is trial and error..
I'm starting to wonder if the people who commented negatively on here have ever heard of techno or trance? When I started listening, I was expecting the worst, but it's actually not bad at all! Someone said "the talent is there, the application is not", and someone else said "can't stay with the flow for even 10 seconds". But the application is just fine for a trance remix of an opera song. The transitions are smooth, and the rhythm flows nicely throughout the whole track. :) Great job!
@zoxEmoRoXasxoz I would agree with you, but in psychology our teacher had us watch "At first sight" a movie about a man who had been blind his whole life getting surgery to see, and he has a really hard time with it. One of the things he says to someone is "I saw you better when I was blind" At the end of the movie he started going blind again, but the blind guy really didn't care much. Perhaps it's only so terrible to people who could hear/see all their lives and then suddenly lose it.
Yes to all you said, but as to the quality of the song and her possible talents. I downloaded this song 10 years ago with a program called Morpheus, that was like in between Napster and Kazaa times, and listened to it every once and then for all this years. It took me 3 days to download this one song back then. xD It's one of the oldest remixes I can think of I'm pretty sure not made by this User :D
I love opera trance but this mix kinda faded the melody off, i suggest let the melody flow without disruption of the bass, but it together with grace and it will shine like the stars in the galaxies :)
I always read a lot of hateful comments on youtube, everyone likes what they like. It's nothing new, but it gets really fucking old. You don't like it that's fine, but why waste your time typing hateful comments on these people's videos? Hit dislike and move on. As far as I can see, she's doing something with her talent. It takes a lot of guts to remix a piece from an opera, knowing that people are going to be extremely critical. I like this, if you dont, listen to something else and stop hating
Until 2:00 I was one with the music, after that it became a buzzkill. At 2:25 it was becoming into something else that was going to be worth listening to, and then at 2:35 it became into another "WTF IS GOING ON HERE!!! @#$@#~~!!!".... This track just can't stay with the flow for even 10 seconds... feels like bits and pieces of different styles and tempos in to a marvelously ruined track.
@PyroGothNerd The fact that it was a fictional movie does not convince me so much. I've seen deaf people who can hear for the first time with the help of new implants, and they are always happy about it. And I've spoken (er... texted...) with deaf people before, and they seemed very un-happy that they could not have the pleasure of hearing things... music... anything.
@slowlyfading No. Just no. Being deaf is a terrible thing. When you have the freedom of being able to hear, you can easily click off a video and never listen to it again. But someone who is deaf doesn't get to hear... at all. Never to hear someone say they love them, never to enjoy the sounds of birds chirping or the roll of thunder. Do you still wish to go deaf?
I like it conceptually. I think it would be better with more of the vocal part and it not being manipulated with the way it is, because it just sounds as if the singer has a very bad tremelo. But I still really like the mix.
I'm sorry but a real Puccini fan cannot stay silent before this...the aria completely loses its moving beauty but most importantly its meaning...this is completely meaningless
First: This is not Trance Second: i must be honest to say it was horrible.. Lil better from 0500.. if i may : check out Emma shapplin - Spente Le Stelle Yomanda Remix
tema historico a mas no poder...me trae en grató,muy buenos recuerdos...son cov ers ...si..pero con sentido...y calidad ante todo...hoy en dia lo poco que escucho de este movimiento generacional...me huele a PASTEL!!!
