I forgot to mention Mrs. Claus aka the Shoemaker's wife was from Target, 90% clearance for 30 cents. Also, to clarify, I bought the Christmas tin, the 2 playhouses, 7 packages of Cobblestone Corner Winter Village Minatures figurines, which equaled to $10 at Dollar Tree (before it went up $1.25). However, I bought them after Christmas clearance at 50% off, for a grand total of $5 per box. 🤶🎅🎄🥿👞❄
These boxes are delightful. The dress and shoes are so pretty. The book and coloring book are just perfect for this box. The box will inspire so many hours of imagination. I love packing tins. It is like a gift within a gift. Thanks for sharing so much joy.

Oh my goodness, the village! What a marvelous idea! I love it! What treasures... and you gave her a tin to keep it all safe! I love her glittery dress and mary jane shoes. The beaded headband is so pretty. They are all beautiful! I don't know why I don't know this story but it's wonderful! The idea of sending the smaller stuffies is perfect! They are elf size! I love the outfit too, even the headband. She's ready for church! I'm surprised you don't know this story! But it's not as popular as others I guess, not sure why. My sister and I loved it. Such a creative theme, Sharon, with so many treasures to provide hours of fun for this young girl. I love that you were able to find a storybook to include, so she could connect the story with the contents of the shoebox. I think my favorite is the multiple little stuffies instead of one bigger one, but I really love the playset that you put together for her, too…complete with a blanket of snow. So clever. Oh my goodness Sharon, this is precious. First, the title, just stole my heart. (I’m an old soul and I think you may be too🤣). The little village is absolutely my favorite! I know this child will play for hours and hours with that set. Ummm 2 bucks for the ballet slippers? I’ve been watching those for months ( pink and black) and they are still 5 at my Walmarts👎. Such a sweet love filled box, as always! TFS!

Very well thought out and very beautiful, so inspiring ❤️. That would be awesome retail therapy for my soul. The joy of shopping 🛍 but with someone else's well-being in mind. Just wondering if you have a special closet or drawer you store stuff in until boxing day, and are you always on the lookout for deals?, also do you shop year round and wondering what inspires your different themes, and if you do tend to be on the look out year round for items how does it all come together perfectly per theme over time? Sorry, just saw this! I have a shed and a garage and a guest bedroom to put all my clearance items I find. I buy whenever it's on clearance. Some times the items inspire the theme, or it helps provide a theme. So I buy whatever is on clearance because eventually they will belong to a shoebox. For example like the tin boxes, I bought those seperately from the small figurines. I bought those a while ago but they turned out perfect for these shoeboxes. Thanks again!

I love your themes, Sharon! The little play set village you created is my favorite in the box for sure! I want that to display in my house lol. It looks like very good quality and durable! Are they wooden or plastic? I have some little wooden “North Pole”/“Santa” type houses and characters that I got in Target bullseye spot over the past two years. I have often thought they would be cute in shoeboxes, but I just worry they are not good enough quality and would break easily. I love the white washcloth to be the base of the village to look like snow. You are so creative! And last, but not least, I love the Shoemaker and the Elves book, and of course, the shoes!

But of course, since they are tiny, that's why I put them in a tin box for extra protection. I would love to see your shoeboxes with the Target Christmas items. Thank you about the white washcloth! I always knew I was going to add it. Glad it worked out. I think there was a Golden Book actually for the Elves and the Shoemaker but it was more expensive than the ones I got. Love the shoes too.
